Thanks, I didn't do as well as I was hoping but I placed 12th of 37 overall, and had the fifth best deadlift.
 
Got some wheels there, boss! Great total. Was this USAPL? Those guys take their sweet time on the bench press.

No, no. My benches at the meet were a shorter pause than what my brother called for. For my unsanctioned meet, they called press as soon as the bar touched, but I didn't anticipate for fear of looking like a jackass.

Good bc my bench is weak, and I still have some technical flaws. I'm just going to get on the board and have some fun, then build from there.

Yes, USAPL, and yes, very long commands. It was nationals as well, so very strict, I saw many people bomb out.

Long commands don't affect me as I have so much strength off the chest, and I train up to 5second pauses in training.

Absolutely! I just started a four week training cycle for a strongman comp, and I have my first full power meet two weeks after that comp. I plan on taking openers and possibly second attempts in the week after the strongman event and just going in and having some fun. I'm beginning to dabble in gear and may do a geared meet whenever I have enough experience in the stuff.

Fuuuuuu. Hard workout, fasted cutting wasn't helping the cause and I missed reps on a few accessory sets bc my tris were gassed. Might start some intra workout carbs. Pump was super strong, biggest I've seen my tris in a while.

I am not used to this level of reps, so it will do wonders for my strength endurance and conditioning.

Someone mentioned on the Cube FB group, and Lilly agreed, to do reps when working up to that final set. Usually the weight before my final set I will rep for 8, or I just rep that 310x8x2

Ya, I do 8 reps on all the warm up sets, so I'll probably do 225x8, 275x8 before.
