Do PHs and Sarms mess with thyroid function much?

I can't post the specifics at the moment because I'm at work.... but recent blood work is showing my TSH is low... not out of range, but very low.... and T3 and T4 are quite high.... ALP is also high along with bad cholesterol.....

Does PHs or even pct drugs mess with thyroid? I don't wanna jump on thyroid medicine if this is normal and will go back to normal levels in a while...

Any info appreciated.

Do you have labs from before sarms/phs showing normal thyroid function? How old are the labs? Have you been tested for Graves disease?

Too many variables to really make a decision here. Have you tested your thyroid before? Without having a "base" you won't know if this is normal numbers for you and you just never knew, or if something caused this.

Have you taken and fat loss/fat burning supplements?

I do know two other hormones that affect thyroid in two different ways:

Tren can decrease conversion of T4 to T3

GH can increase TSH and conversion

so I imagine other hormones can affect thyroid but as mentioned above, you have no way to really know this for certain without prior thyroid tests.

Unfortunately I very stupidly didn't get labs before experimenting with PHs.... Wish I did. Labs are about a month old now. Never been tested for Grave's disease.

Cheers for the info mate...

Unfortunately I don't have bloods prior to taking PH's... I haven't taken any fatloss or burning supps... Recently I've only been taking Vit C, CoQ 10 with RRY, B6, B12, Ginseng, NAC, Milkthistle and Hawthorn Berry, Celery Seed on occasion....

Is there any other info you'd need to try to understand what's going on? I have full blood results here... can post over any other info if it'll help... Going to meet with an endo on Monday.

I would just wait 4-6 weeks off of everything and get bloods done again. High thyroid isnt necessarily bad, but it will make it difficult if you're trying to put on size.

WHen you say off everything, do you mean supplements and vitamins too?

I was thinking of doing a 40/40/20/20 nolva/50/50/25/25 clomid pct... maybe I didn't recovery from the last cycle considering my LH and FSH are also in the lower bracket...

Normal supps are fine to continue.

When was your last cycle? Like stated before, just because that blood test shows your numbers on the lower side of normal now, doesn't mean your number were any different before. You just won't know because you dont have baseline bloods

True that. Cycle ended in Sept 16... PCT was supposed to be nolva 40402020 but ended up only doing 2020 with an OTC PCT as well.... thinking I didn't quiet recover. It's possible that's causing the sides...

I've been experiencing heart palpitations, insane fatigue, decreased appetite, anxiety, dizzy/off balance.... these are signs of shutdown, right? Also my estrogen was pretty high on my bloods.... maybe should run aromasin with this new PCT I have in mine....

IMO yes, those are signs of both low test and high estrogen. As for the thyroid, how high are the numbers? Are they high end of normal or high as in out-of-range?

If you want to run a pct again, i would recommed lower doses of both nolva and clomid. 10mg nolva daily and 25mg clomid daily for about 3-4 weeks. Then about 2 weeks after stopping get blood work done again

Unfortunately I only have T3, Free T4 and TSH...

Don't have the numbers here with me atm, but TSH was .78 I think. T3 was within bracket but highish... and free T4 was out if the bracket but not by a large amount.... for example if the max was 14 mine was like 15.3.... I can post actual numbers later

And yo thanks so much for helping out man. I appreciate it a ton.

That's what these boards are for brother, just here to help others where i can.

I wouldnt worry about the thyroid numbers unless they are unusually high or low. I would, however, get blood work done to test your testosterone and estrogen levels checked. Sounds to me like this might be the issue here.

If you aren't going to get those levels checked, i'd still recommend doing the clomid and nolva like i listed above. It can't hurt, and could possibly get your levels a little higher and get you feeling a little better.

Add in SHBG to your T and E tests. If your thyroid being overactive is to blame for your T/E levels being low/high (if they are), it is because hyper thyroid can raise SHBG levels which will latch on to testosterone, dropping free T levels . SHBG is produced in the liver so the increased output could cause the liver to filter less estrogen out of the body. So you could be experiencing estrogen dominance.

If you test thyroid again, get Free T3 Free T4 and Reverse T3 levels. When you have abnormally high Thyroid output, your body senses that the system is overloaded and puts the breaks on by converting T4 into reverse T3 instead of T3. Both T3 and rT3 compete for the same receptor sites in the body and when rT3 is being overproduced it will feel like you have hypothyroid symptoms like you described even with high lab numbers.
