Do doctors ask for free testosterone?

I have had low test all my life,around 260-280.

Both total and free test were low.

I finally decided to see the doctor about.

Thew problem is,I have been using tongkat ali for some time and my free test skyrocketed(150,normal 3,4-40)

Total test is still very low.


Does anyone know if docs ask you to do the bloodwork for free test also?

I heard they only ask total.


I`m worried if she sees this free test it might ruin my chances for TRT.
 
Doctors generally only look at total test. Endos tend to run everything, but in my experience with 3 endos, is that total test is the number they care about when looking at TRT candidates.

Well,the problem is that it has been 10 days since I stopped tongkat ali when I took the blood test the other day.

I don`t know when the hell is my free test gonna return to normal(very low).

I have appointment with endo in 10 days.

I hope I`m not ****ed.

Maybe it`s the best to tell her about the tongkat ali if she asks for free test.
