DNP- level of illegality?

Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask a quick question about DNP- how illegal is it? If one were to get caught with it, would it be a felony vs. a misdemeanor, etc. I know that research chems (SERMs) are basically a slap on the wrist because they aren't scheduled, but if someone wanted to throw the book at you, how bad could you get screwed over? The only thing I could find in searching indicated that if it were prepared for consumption, it could be a felony, but I didn't know if that was based on distribution or simple posession.

To be honest, I'd be more worried about dying than getting caught with it lol. But as far as I know, it's not illegal.

AFAIK, marketing/selling it for human consumption is illegal. If you're not selling it, or happen to have what looks like an amount suited for distribution, I think you'll be fine, since it's not scheduled, nor is it technically an illegal substance (still used in some pesticides I believe, as well as explosives.

I know that attempting to purchase significant quantities of it can get you placed on the terror watchlist which can affect your ability to get firearms, etc. I guess what it boils down to is "is it worth it?". With AAS, the risks are clear- get caught, go to jail with felony possession charges that will follow you for the rest of your life. DNP isn't so clear. It'd be nice to know what to expect- it would sure make it a whole lot easier to determine if the amount of effort in acquiring it and the legal risks justified the rapid fat loss.

Only if you try to order directly from a legit lab chemical supplier company. Can't trace you if you get it from an underground supplier.

As for "rapid fat loss" if you're going to use it to cheat, might as well clean up your diet so that your "cheat" is only for getting rid of current fat. Then just don't allow yourself to get that fat again, and you'll be fine. I would think that trying to maintain 8-10% would be much easier than trying to go from 16% -> 10% or less. If you do it this way, you won't need that much of it anyways. Not like you're using it to go from 6% -> 3% for pre-contest prep...
