DMFA vs DMSO in this recipe...

Say I'm using the recipe below:

30% Isopropyl Myristate
15% PEG-400
15% Propylene Glycol
15% Oleic Acid
10% DMFA
10% Octyl Salicylate
5% D-Limonene

As far as I can tell DMFA isn't available to private individuals. Would this recipe still be good if I substituted DMSO or would I be better off using the original recipe?
