Dmax's pursuit for power & performance

So to elaborate on yesterday brought my stance in a touch, index finger on the ring if not a little bit more and last set I really had the monkey feet going built a lot of tension at the bottom of the rebound just felt like I was pretty close to where I needed to be.

Going to be working on hamstrings pretty hard I'm a quad dominant squatter so the don't need quite the volume

Would like to do deficit pulls against bands but their is no good way to do it at the box gym and I I go to the hard core gym I'm limited on other things

Tip for bands. Take a power rack. Put a 70-80lb db in front of the main posts. Take a mini, loop around handle on db loop around back of rack and over the other side of the db. 2 layers over bar about 100lbs tension, 4 layers is about 200lbs.

Can see how I set bands up here.

Great day, had a bit of a hip impingement but worked out during the course day.
Setup is much improved need to work on elbows under the bar thou 710 was called to depth by napalm it's great having him there for that it's the only way I like your squat. It was slow coming up but wraps were looseish

Deadlift felt heavy as as usual managed to pull a pr thou had to regrip thou. Brain thought it was funny how I was chomping my gum between reps

Extra hamstring work. Then blood flow work to get some fresh blood in there

That's it thanks for reading

Bench frustrates me, too. At least your walk helped.

That's what everyone keeps telling me

But you won't show it til you start to believe it. It's like the matrix. Listen to Hatebreed's This is Now. Actually listen to the words. Embrace the greatness within! And have an awesome birthday and quit worrying about dumb sh*t

Happy bday.

I had your issues with bench and I still do to a point. Best thing I ever did was stop testing my strength on it and focused on building it. I know you train in a conjugate format so what I did in that format and what helped me was doing triples off 1 board, 2 board, floor press, and sometimes comp bench. All paused. The longer I waited to test the more confident I got as my other lifts went up. About 10 months later I tested my bench and added 70lbs too it.

Edit not to mention I was handling 300-400lbs on all these variations as time went on so 345 didn't seem as heavy as it was just in the mix of it all.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes went out for Mediterranean last night and polished it off with a pumkin pie protein nutter butter flurry from the local ice cream shop and yes the do have protein powder there which is awesome

I'd hit that place all the time!

Nice work this weekend man, sucks about the bench, seems like that's the lift we all run into a wall on! Happy belated birthday too dude, sounds like you had a good one!

So good news switch to 5 8's this week I'll be able get a bit more time in the gym this week which I'm going to need cause supposedly we are going to 6 12's next week :-(

Yea it will help me catch up on money I owe but I think anything over 10 is a waste productivity drops to nothing after that imo

That's a fact, but it won't change how much they have to pay you! Just try to stay hydrated and keep your awareness about you. Fatigue is the number one reason work injuries happen after pure laziness and disregard for safety measures.

Was driving down the street yesterday seen a kid drinking a pop/soda and thought to myself it's almost been 4 year since I've had any pop in any shape or form pretty proud of that considering I used to drink 3-6 root beers a day

I feel you on the pop stuff man. I haven't drank more then maybe a sip here or there since early high school. Now dam near 10 years.

Cant get the video to load. What the hell is a calf rotation machine?? Good looking session though man. Lotta volume

It just happens sometimes. You see it in athletes who were forced with electrolytes but still cramp up on the field. Could be mobility, could be menopause. No one knows.

Wow yeah that's not normal man, you think your over doing it a bit maybe? Idk there's a bunch of things that can cause those cramps though.
