"Dirty" diets make cutting easier?

If you are in maintenance and eating daily donuts and cola, does this mean to 'cut' all you have to do is drop them? After all, you will be in a caloric deficit.

If you were eating "clean", you would have to cut out quality carbs and/or fats to cut, and that would seem less convenient.
 
i mean those would be the easiest to drop as it is mainly carbs without losing protein macros.
