Ran them both, Ddrol twice and DMZ at least 4 times.
DMZ is what you want for a recomp, cut, bulk, max strength - basically any scenario it’s superior to Ddrol, except if you needed extra strength with barely any size change (like a weightclass-based sport such as powerlifting, fighting, etc). If you have room to gain even 5-6lbs, I would choose DMZ.
Ddrol needs a bit more mg to be less effective both as an anabolic or for extra strength (40-60mg/day), while still typically being fairly harsh on blood pressure, lipids, acid reflux. I’m not sure if it’s really as liver toxic as DMZ.
The counterpoint would be if you also needed to run it for a long time. DMZ will usually make you feel awful within a week or two, and as harsh as it is I’d definitely recommend not exceeding a month on it - you could probably do up to 6 weeks on Ddrol if needed. I lose my appetite within a week on DMZ. But you could take the DMZ for less time and still get more obvious results than Ddrol.
Ddrol is something I would stack in the last month before a powerlifting meet when I was cutting weight. DMZ was what I would use when I was trying to get more jacked.
