Different Size Scoops in Different Proteins?

Laura----I just got my shipment of protein, chocolate mint blend and Chocolate mint MPI. I must say the flavor on both of them is awesome! Also, the MPI even mixes easily with a shaker, I haven't had any clumps in the 3 or 4 shakes I've made so far.

But my question is, the scoop in the MPI is a little shorter and wider than the scoop from the Blend. The MPI scoop looks like it holds a lot more protein, but both labels say the scoops are 28.4 grams. Do they hold the exact smae amount, or does the MPI hold more like I think it does? Thanks.

I'm not Laura :nono: ...but,
the density of a powder will effect the weight:volume ration. One is more dense than the other meaning that at equal 'volume' (scoop size) one is heavier than the other. So for both to provide '28.4 grams' (weight) per scoop the scoops need to be different in size (volume).

Unless of course Laura has a different explaination :wave:
 
Laura has a PhD in Wheyology and works in the San Diego Wild Bodybuilder Park; I'm sure she may take a while to respond because of how busy she is with her work, but, she should be able to explain in detail exactly why there are many different size protein scoop.

Or, you can just read b5150's post :D Also, fillers make a diff as well. Some ppl pack their proteins full of flavoring, etc, and will give bigger scoops to give you a siilar protein serving.
