Difference between insulin and IGF-1?

Hello,

Silly question - whats the difference between insulin and IGF-1?

Have done a couple of cycles of test before, but not HGH or peptides etc.

I have read stacking insulin with HGH is a good thing for a synergistic effect, but I cant seem to grasp the difference between Insulin and IGF-1?

or....IGF-1 is actually the chemical name for insulin which has brand names such as humalog, lanus etc???
