This might be some of the bread and butter conversations at my gym lol...I have heard it a lot, but I'm not really social past the 2 or 3 guys I sometimes workout with at the gym, and even then I dont talk much to them...But I know I STARTED BBing because life took a sucker punch at me, and lets just say twice I was held against my freedom...I moved away and actually found a girl from my past and finally started going out with her in a new city...well after messing up and losing her , and seeing her now close to her big day with her new bf, I took up the gym...the only minutes I am calm or my mind doesnt rage or gets filled with despair is those 2 to 3 secs trying to lock a bench...or those amazing whole body pumps when doing DL or Squats...the effect of "blanking" out after like 20 mins of cardio and then noticing you have been going at it for like 30 more minutes without noticing haha...Idk , it put my life back together, and it has given me the strength to move on and forget the past scars I got due to my run ins with delinquency and the guilt of ****ing up with the one girl who I actually cared for...
idk if this goes here, or not...But hey we are a community right? Thought maybe more people like me , started all this because the pain of something in their life, or like me , the need to get stronger to overcome some ****, got them started...and then it turned into a lifestyle that we just cant live without.
