Dhea/preg vs HCG

I would like to hear everyone's opinions on why one would take one or the other. I'm hesitant to give my hcg up but it's keeping my estrogen a little high. On hcg my preg and dhea levels came back mid range for both and I was taking 250 iu x2

It is not a one or the other with the hormones you listed. They do not serve the same purpose. You do not need to give up one to supplement with another.

Thanks for the response . Sorry should have been more clear. I am aware that you do not need to give up one to supplement the other . I guess I am asking if dropping hcg to lower estrogen would the pregnenelone dhea supplements fill that gap. Obviously besides the testicle size and spermatozoa count

Again, one has nothing to do with the other. What "gap" are you referring to?

Personally, I think anyone on TRT can benefit from pregnenolone. Then add DHEA as needed.

I believe he is referring to a "gap" that would be caused by cutting out HCG. Which yes they have nothing to do with one another.

Please correct me if I am wrong but hcg is recommended to backfill the pathways of preg dhea that are downgraded due to exogenous test

No, TRT causes the hypothalamus to shut down its production of GnRH (gonadotropin releasing hormone). Without that, the pituitary gland stops releasing LH. Without LH the testicles stop making testosterone and the Leydig cells that produce test go to sleep and your nuts shrink. HCG mimics LH.

DHEA and preg are hormones that simply are part of the natural pathways your body follows. With age and exogenous test, this decreases and can cause issues with energy, libido, anxiety, stress, sleep, and memory. When you backfill with pregnenolone, it is like flipping an on switch to all this (other than anxiety, which it obliterates).

Wow thanks for the explanation. That pretty much clears it up. But as far as I can remember you do not take hcg. Do you think I will lose any subjective benefits. I know if I drop it my e2 will drop and I won't have to use aromasin at all

I cannot speak to any benefits you may or may not see, unfortunately. I don't take it, but I did when I first started. I did not experience any benefit and only sides, so I dropped it. I have never experienced the bad atrophy that some do and kept about 75% of my size, so that never played into my decision.

Labs will be the final say so but hcg is the only thing I can think still holding my e2 levels a little high.
On 100 mg test twice week 250 iu hcg twice e2 was 40 test 1334

On 80 twice week same hcg test 983 e2 was 38

On 50 mg twice week hcg same test 690 e2 was 34
