DHEA detection time

Hello,

I would like to know the DHEA detection time ?

Maybe do you have litterature about this ?

Thanks

I'm actually surprised it is banned, because it converts to all sorts of different hormones, including estrogen.

..... But also because of this, it seems harder to detect. Because (unless I am mistaken) for compounds like this, they are looking at ratios between different hormones in your system. And since DHEA converts to so many different ones, it tends to mask itself.

DON'T TAKE THIS AS 100% GUARANTEED.

But from what I've seen, it seems to be true.

Also..... I have a bottle of DHEA in my drawer. Want to know why I keep it there? Just in case my estrogen drops too low (which rarely happens).
LOL.

If I were in your position, I wouldn't take my word for it (or anyone else's).
I would research the crap out of it.

It really depends on the test and why they are taking it. IF they are not looking they won't find it,. Research the type of test they are running.

It must be a fairly good time after you stop taking it because I had stopped taking Hi-Tech's 1- Testosterone ( 1-Andro/ 1-DHEA ) maybe a month before I was tested and my doc said my levels were high . The she gave me this crap about being honest with her about what I was taking , like it wouldn't harm me one bit telling her , but if told the truth , she would've thought I was taking steroids and THAT was the reason for my low test , and I wouldn't have gotten on TRT which I just now finally got on . This doctor was looking for any excuse to not put me on test . I told he right off that I was taking DHEA for maybe a week an half before my first test , and she jumped right out the window and claimed something for which there is absolutely no medical basis for....... and claimed my testosterone was super SUPER low because I was taking DHEA a WEEK and HALF and that had shut me off . I called her out on it , but in a kinda joking way and told her if that's the case she should notify all the medical journals because this would be the very first EVER documented case of DHEA use shutting of someone's testosterone . I researched the crap out the subject and couldn't find ONE case where that ever happened . It is only possible in theory ( and that would only be if you took something like 500 mgs a day for like 6 months straight), to my knowledge from my extensive research , it has never actually happened . I was only taking 50-100 mgs a day for maybe a week and a half , two weeks tops .

Regular DHEA, and what you were taking, are two very different things.
Still, it seems very odd to me that your Test levels were high a month after stopping that cycle. What were you taking close to the time of the visit? Test boosters or something else?

Huh ? My test levels were very VERY low . I think you misunderstood me .At first I was only taking regular DHEA , before my first testosterone test . Doc said my DHEA level pretty high . Then I had stopped taking for at least a month before my second test , and was then taking 1-DHEA and stopped a few weeks before that second test .

Oh, ok. Your first sentence in your first post made me think that you thought DHEA , and DHEA derivatives' detection times should be the same.

If she tested you, and your Test levels were high, why did she retest them?
Was it a second Dr?

his DHEA levels were high... so she made him come back a month later to test again
