Determining time in the cruise phase

34 years old, 5'9" 193lbs currently. Just finished up my 2nd cycle that I ran for 14 weeks total. Started with 350 test and 250 deca, after a few weeks went up to 450/500 test and 350 deca with zero sides once everything acclimated. Ran 50mg of anadrol for 4 weeks mid cycle with good results and strength. Tried to toss in some primo but it gave me hand pain and just made me feel lazy so im wondering if it was dropping my estrogen as i respond well to higher estrogen numbers, I stopped the deca at week 14 and started tapering the test down at the same time i dropped deca. Its been 3 weeks and I'm back to my trt dosage of 125-150mg a week. How long do you wait or what do you use in your blood work to determine when to get back on? Ive already went threw the come down phase. I typically run around 900total test, 45-50ngdl estrogen, and my hdl is always in the low 40s and ldl 115ish on my trt dosage but always feel good. I dont do as much cardio as i used to but im in pretty decent shape. The hdl and ldl is really the only thing that concerns me. We eat 90% organic and whole foods so its just surprising that my bloods always suck. I planned to wait 6-10 weeks at least and see where my numbers were.

IMO unless your doing it for a living time off at a minimum should be that or greater to time on. Ideally double at least to time on. Certainly doses matter too though as someone could definitely do more damage with 12 weeks of 2-3 grams of injectables including Tren and orals on top than a year of 250-300 test and some low dose primo or provirion.

Could take 2-3 months for lipids to return to baseline , obviously hopping right back in defeats the purpose as you could theoretically live the whole year with them deranged if you aren’t giving adequate time off.

I think mid cycle orals are less than ideal for several reasons…. They throw of lipids but the body has a hard time restoring lipid balance on supraphysiologic doses of injectables . Even if injectabmes don’t throw them off much they may slow recovery. Also androgen receptor sensitivity tends to trend down as cycle time increases so blasting the gas in the middle may not be most efficient use of it .

Lots of ways to skin the cat on bloodwork. I personally don’t always check mine at the end of a cycle, I just hop off an appropriate amount of time and then check it pre cycle and make sure it’s good before I hop on. (I’m not saying this is the most responsible thing in the world). I have the rationale though that it’s going to be off some though and what really matters is making sure I have enough time off and the I’m healthy before the next one. My next one will probably be like 12 weeks of 250 test + 200 mg TD 11-kt + 30 mg of triumphalis to finish the last 6-8 weeks or maybe 300 test/150 deca + 4-6 weeks of an oral at the end.

So much of lipids is genetic. LDL can be manipulated some by diet (reduction of processed foods and saturated animal fat) but HDL is very very hard to influence. Running like 25 miles a week and going to a plant based diet might improve it 10 or maybe 20% which if someone’s baseline is 40 gets them to 44-48.

Also aside from lipids some studies show that LV remodeling occurs at supraphysiologic doses of androgens, dose dependent , BP independent I believe , worse with 19-Nors , etc. I believe a same study showed that it reversed back to normal on echo within a year of stopping. Now guys running tren or high dose deca for 30-45 weeks a year for a few years … may not reverse

Kidneys are the other thing. Some kidney issues could be mitigated by BP control but some of the compounds may damage the kidney directly.
