Hi everyone, i posted this on another board, but didnt seem to get much responce so i am hoping some members on this board could give me their insight...
i am 7 weeks into my cycle, i am running 150mgs anadrol, 1gr test prop, 75mgs tren ED, 50mgs winny ED. I had astonishing gains in the beginning, but now the gains have stopped completely. i havent had any strength or weight gains for the last 2 and a half weeks. I even took a week off to let my body rest, still nothing. I bumped the anadrol to 200mgs, prop to 1200mgs and tren to 150 - still nothing, its like i hit a brick wall. What are you thoughts on this? I read that after a while your body starts to produce a certain enzyme that blocks testosterone molecule from connecting to the muscle to keep the balance, this might be the case with me. What should i do? Should i stop running the gear completely and then start over? And if so, whats the shortest amount of rest i should take that would sufficient for me start gaining again? I am getting ready for my first show which is in 2 months so i am really desperate at this point.

please no comments on my diet, its perfect.

that is alot of gear and unless you are a VERY large guy i can't see there being no gains after juse 5 weeks. why are you still running the drol at 7 weeks?

are you over training?

i am 240 with a 9-10% bf. i am training 4 times a week, but i dont think that i am overtrained. i took a week off to let my body rest but it didnt help. has anybody else experienced a plateau?

look to your diet .. as you gain more weight you need to eat more in order to keep gaining .. you've got MORE than enough drugs to grow

Try and qualify this for us.

even if diet is perfect and you are eating enough doesn't mean you are absorbing the required nutrients. Digestive capacity/efficency are key factors in sustained growth. Look into some digestive enzymes.

i religiously get 600grs of protein (7 meals and 2 shakes) and 400-450grs of carbs.
...yes, thats probably something i should have looked into a long time ago.

If you are 2 months out from your first show, really the strength gains arent that important at this moment, but I would sure as hell think you should be getting stronger on that. I know how frustrating that is, i run into the same problems. If you are losing body fat and your weight is staying the same, you are definetly making progress.

When taking the step to use AAS, one needs to recognize that gains will not be linear over time. Even if the body continues to add muscle, the rate will be much slower. Eventually, a point is reached where the body balances out. Typically, this leads one to assume the body needs a greater stimulus which leads to an increase in drug dosages. Again though, this will be limiting as time passes. At some point, one needs to realize that dosages can't be increased forever. Important thing to remember, the human body is amazing, it will adapt to maintain an equilibrium.

Here is a good post by our good friend RayBravo:
What ive seen in most people is , as soon as they see a stop in growth , the only solution they seem to be able to come up with is "increase dose of steroid used !" , we never sit back and look at other factors we can work on to beat the homeostasis , i happen to be jobless enuf to think about this lol , and when i was looking for info , here's something nice i found , written by bryan haycock :

"If you aren't growing it is because:
1) You aren't lifting enough weight (load)
2) You aren't lifting it enough times (volume)
3) You aren't training frequently enough
4) You aren't eating enough and/or eating properly
5) RBE has made your muscle tissue resistant to furhter growth (you must SD)
6) You are as big as your endocrine system and hypertrophy-specific training can support. (You would be pretty big already if this is the case) "

*SD= strategic deconditioning (giving the body a rest from training, read more at haycock's site Invalid Link Removed if u want ).

Strength increases in compound lifts tends to lag behind strength increases in isolation movements when on gear. You also won't see the insane huge jump all of a sudden in compound movements like you do in isolation moves. As for size, my philosophy on that is different from a lot of people on this board (but it obviously works for me at 295lbs) I like a moderate volume of very heavy compound exercisesj, I train each bodypart twice a week, and I train for strength.

You are a machine if you are pounding back 600g protein a day.

I recommend Invalid Link Removed
and

for general digestive problems.

In your case it sounds like you just need to improve digestive capacity and since you have a show coming up the shot gun approach seems in order. Find a good ginger extract and start taking a HCL supp (Betaine HCL) with each meal. Meat tenderizer is just Bromelain thats cheap and worth a shot.

Good Luck

There is no way you need 600g of protein a day. If you feel that protein is an issue (which I promise you it is not) then buy some essential amino acid powder from custom or 1fast400, that will work much better than just consuming additional non essential amino acids, and consume ~40-50g of that a day.

I would take a break from training for longer than just a weekend, and change your routine up a bit man. Seven days of rest and a new routine (maybe less volume if you are doing lots of volume now). If you wanted to start getting a lot stronger, rather than just look better, I could give you more advice but the bodybuilding thing isn't my game.

i weighed myself at the gym today and it turns out i gained a little over 2lbs...might be just water retention but i was still pleased to see myself gaining again. i think i am going to see if i can pack on any more weight in the next 2 weeks and then start focusing on hardening up my physique. thanks a lot everyone....
just picked up some digestive enzymes from the vitamine store, going to stock up on some betaine and bromelain tomorrow...
