Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act Passes Senate

Problem with creating a minimum age is that then you essentially have the government saying it's okay to use roids after you turn 21. Prohormones are still dangerous to anyone over 21 if they don't know what they are doing. Sadly, people who actually do their research and ask questions online are the minority of PH users. Too many dumbasses out there. And like you said, kids will still get their hands on it. I mean the 21 year old drinking age doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent, at least to the kids in my town...

Bottom line is the government can't be endorsing steroid use on any level. These chemicals can do some amazing things in the right hands, but there are too many wrong hands out there, in which they can ruin lives.

And besides, if the government were to place an age on it, then they'd have to set up law enforcement protocols for enforcing the age, and it just becomes a whole mess they have to spend taxpayer money on.

It will change things. 16 year olds typically don't have a line on quality AAS, but they do have the internet and their mommy's credit card.

Obesity or steroids. Hmm, which is far worse. Just look around and answer that one for yourself. Don't see them passing a bill on abusing fatty foods and gross amounts of sugar abuse, I mean everyone loves a twinky and a greasy burger.

I better go ahead an order my next few years worth of injectables before those prices skyrocket from supply and demand.

I have a bottle of ironflex Halo from a previous run. May have to stock up on this.

IronFlex is always priced well at Orbit

And now with the code BAN20 even cheaper

And the internet has more than just DS and PHs. They can find about everything they want with a simple google search. Drugs specifically.

I'm still trying to find a legit site for pain pills so I don't have to deal with the Doc over my issues when they wanna keep giving me ibprophen and kill my kidneys like they have been! >:/

Passing this bill does not keep anyone from getting anything. I can go down to the bus station and buy any illegal drug; coke, crack, meth, heroin, bath salts. How does those being illegal prevent kids from getting them??

This bill is all just for show. Each political part can jerk off the other one and brag about how much they accomplish.

Superdrol was selling for $5-10 when its ban came down. Anything less than that amount for these lesser compounds is not worth your money.

Anyone have any info on how this will affect Canadians? Basically we'll just have to source from elsewhere now, correct? Or maybe all the manufacturers will move up here now...

Olestra....my man...you're killin vibes...you're doing it wrong

I know...sorry sorry sorry!

Believe me, I'm pissed too. If I had it my way, all drugs would be not only legal, but tested for purity by the gov't so people know exactly what they are putting in their bodies and it would be up to them to research how to do it safely. But people are too dumb for that. I blame dumb kids/ignorant adults for ruining the fun. Also sketchy supplement companies tainting batches, drawing attention from FDA/DEA. They killed the party.

To Abe Lincoln: kids will still be able to get their hands on AAS...true. But only the ones savvy/ballsy enough to find them. Not every 16 year old can and/or is willing to use the deep web/sketchy suppliers, but 100% of them know how to click "add to cart" and enter in a credit card #...

They can still do that, not like all banned substance in the USA are banned everywhere else. And those countries ship world wide, so yes it will be a simple add to cart and credit # as well for illegals. Kids are pretty savvy so it isn't a real challenge at all.

I see your point. Maybe you're right.

Only thing I can really say in response is that theres a "sketch factor" and possibility of legal ramifications that will probably turn away a significant amount of would-be abusers.

Oh, and the misguided idea that OTC prohormones are safe because they are "dietary supplements" makes them more attractive to dumb kids, while AAS are somehow more dangerous.

Really though, you're right in a ton of cases. OK, I'll stop killing the thread now. All I really wanted to say in the first place is: "It's those damn kids again!"

This bill had nothing to do with kids. It's nonsense to even think that. This has been pushed by lobbyist for the pharmaceutical industry. It has everything to do about money and control. They are also trying to get an additional tax added on to gym memberships, fitness studios, personal trainers, tanning salons, etc. basically an added "health" tax.

Wow really? Did not know that.

Why would the pharma companies care so much about prohormones?

Can you link me to the gym membership tax? All I see on Google is about a tax effective in DC only.

Can't remember where I read it, but heard one of the talk radio guys talking about it on the radio about a month ago. Pharm company's would prefer all supplements be banned. Cuts into their margin.

So I could legally change my gender with hormones if I wanted to and no one would care, but If I wanted to buy something which

"will promote muscle growth or any other pharmacological effect similar to that of testosterone."

it is illegal? Hell, In some states, I can legally kill myself, but I can't take anything which promotes muscle growth?

I'm dumbfounded. Game over America.

Why?! Because doctors are prescribing stuff like this for "hormone therapy" like it's cool. Pharmaceutical companies are going to make a KILLING by limiting the availability.

Now, all you have to do is go to the doctor and explain your symptoms of low test and how it is negatively impacting your life and causing depression - most of us even know how to artificially impact a testosterone blood count test - and yeehaw $10,000 charge to the insurance company.

They dont have to endorse it, but they also dont need to be infringing on people's individual liberties. Just stay out of people's lives. If you look at the entire war on drugs its been nothing but a complete failure and over a trillion $ lost peoples lives still ruined, even heroin has has a new surge as a epidemic as of recent times including children.

There is talk suggesting that, but Im not convinced pharm's really care much about the minuscule profit's in the supplement industry.

This is true. I went to the doctor and said I didn't feel wrong in anyway, I just wanted to get blood work done to know what my test levels were (was preparing to run a cycle) and they came back at 200. I had been dieting for a few months, reason for low levels. I got a call the next week from a nurse telling me to go pick up a prescription for Andro gel. Doc didn't even tell me the risks like possible shutdown of natty test levels for life, or the chance of not having kids. He couldn't even tell me trt is for life, like wtf?! I didn't even have low test I was just on a cut!

This is such bull****.
Never even got started with these..

If someone would be so kind as to PM me what cutting PH's I should stock up on that I MIGHT be interested in using down the line that would be awesomeee..
Lol.
Freaking govt. First closing the SSE for handguns on Jan 1 and now this!? This is ridiculous!

Do we know the official wording on this or is it pure speculation

Also. Are dermacrine type products safe from this ban?

Language is pretty vague, probably intentional. Looks to me like there are specific compounds currently listed (halo, epi, lmg, etc…) but it is also worded so they can add anything anabolic/androgenic in the future to the list without additional votes.

Yea I saw that. Pretty screwed up they can just throw added substances in the bill without a vote. I feel that to be a bit unconstitutional if you ask me...

Agreed! Also sucks that the window on this is so short before it goes into law. Unless Prez vetoes it…which will never happen

Really? How old are you?. I've talked to two different doctors about low T and they are absolutely against it if it's not absolutely necessary. They were both extremely serious about it and told me it would be a very long process to determine if it was even needed. I'd need to see a specialist, etc,etc...

How does one "illegally" kill themselves??
