Dermacrine cycle cut short

Hi All,

I was planning on a full 12-week run, but I've had to make the call to stop early.

I'm three weeks in, but the hair shedding has been intense and there is no family history at all.

It's a shame because I was feeling great right from the start. The best part was the libido increase, a very welcome effect for a guy nearing the 45-year mark!

I'll be winding things down completely over the next week as I wait for a few other supps to arrive. Now, I'm thinking about what's next for general wellbeing.

My current plan is to look into DHEA-50 and Alpha-Gel. I also love Ecdy-Plex and get great results from it, but the price point means I can only run it in cycles of 3-4 months, once or twice a year.

I was hoping someone could jog my memory, have any of you seen or tried a stack of DHEA-50 and Cloma-Plex? I'm almost certain I saw it discussed somewhere and would love to hear your thoughts.

Appreciate the help!

But neither DHEA or pregnenolone are typically known for causing hair shedding either way, at least it's not a common thing

I would think that it would most likely be the pregnenolone over DHEA, but would depend on the person.

Alpha gel is a fantastic staple for me. I use it almost year-round ( the times i don't is when I forget to restock from DPS)

My wife uses alpha gel as well at 1-2 pumps before bed on tops of the feet , and we see a noticeable positive increase in her readiness and sleep scores on her oura ring app when consistently taking it, as well as an uptick in libido

Currently over a month into an alpha-gel, Anabolic XT ( and brand new to the stack as of yesterday Alpha-one) and it is fantastic

I know that sustain alpha by IF is comparable to alphagel as well - though i do not have personal expirience with it - but it is also highly regarded in this sub

Ending today the 3rd week and seems to have subsided

I've read about the "possibility of hormone shock" while starting and preg causing it so with the current status, I will continue.

I've said this before on this forum and it applies to both AAS and anything hormone-related - if you start experiencing hair loss that early on, you are almost definitely experiencing shock loss, which grows back.

Follicle miniaturization from AAS doesn't expedite to the point of hair falling out within days or weeks. While it does speed up the process of hair loss for those susceptible to MPB, it cannot speed it up to the point where you have noticeable shedding that quick. A lot of time people don't even notice the actual hair loss from a cycle until PCT or even after PCT.

Thanks for this! Ending week 5 today.

I always tell ppl to just bite the bullet and go bald. Easier to maintain and it will happen sooner or later :)

Some people just can't let their hair go (I'm one of them). With the stuff they have today between medications, hair transplant surgeries, etc., there are ways for some people to keep some of their hair. But AAS is not friendly to those wanting to keep their hair.

Agreed! For me the cost of trying to keep my hair + the time and resources on maintaining it, didn't make sense for me from a ROI :)

I hear you. Hair transplant surgery isn't cheap unless you're willing to leave the country, which is something I would personally never do. And some people just look better without hair too. To each their own.
