Deload in PCT?

Coming off a Helladrol cycle in a couple weeks, and was considering a deload starting week 1 of PCT, gradually increasing weight. I beleive Manbeast recommends this method. I respect his, and everyone else's opinion around here. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

but yeah, he always said deload....I replied with high rep sets (like 15-25 rep sets only) and low set counts slowly building up over the weeks....and maybe the last week starting into like 12-15 rep sets....then pretty much easing back into "normal" after PCT.....I think either way works, you are still lifting light or stopping short of failure with these methods....both of which seem to fit into a PCT training protocol...

It'd be wise. There have been people that have tried to lift heavy right after their cycle and snapped their **** up. Your body also isn't going to be able to recover as well from workouts while your natural test levels are rising from the grave.

What happened to Manbeast?

I think he likes to take leaves of absence and go up to his cave on the mountain-top in order to be in solitude and at one with his inner bodybuilder...so that he can return months later to grace us with his newfound cycles and PCT and training methodologies :D that or he just wants to take a break and not answer redundant questions all day every day? who knows what is going on in that head.....

yeah I figure more because the latter part of your post, seeing how your natural test will be in the dumper and you have no androgenic/anabolic aid anymore...better to do high reps or stop before failure....more of a cardio with weights effort, not looking to break down and build up....but just to exercise the muscle and do something....

I deload the first week of PCT, but that's it.

I get antsy as well after the first week or two of PCT with all the half-ass lifting, and I tend to start easing back into it in week 3 and even more in week 4....and hit the ground running post-PCT month....so long as you are eating properly in PCT you figure this can't hurt. Also with all the PCT aid's we use nowadays its probably not such a bad environment as PCT used to be...

Although the aids are better, there is only so much that will really help with HTPA restoration.

yes true, basically the same stuff as in the "old days" gets the HTPA up and running....but at least we can use cortisol control supps, and (effective) test boosters/SHBG supps, natural AI's which are easily accessible (again that actually work)....creates a better environment while the SERM does its job.....

No, keep lifting heavy in PCT.
Dont know why youre pcting at 34 anyway, should just get some test and run TRT dose.

Ha. ... Not everyone wants to be on for life nonetheless have the funds to pay for it. Most insurance don't cover trt. It's to pricy.

I just can't see getting on something that is for life either.....but at my age (40) its actually a viable option....I just hate to be reliant on something I must take for the rest of my life. and then your balls shrink permanently and all that bullshyt.... if you horde the TRT test, and use it for 6 months at double dose and take 6 months off (like 2 months on/2 months off or 3 months on 3 months off)...at least you have some sense of normalcy. although you'd have to deal with clomid and PCT several months per year which sucks....do you want your balls back half the year? or would you prefer to not suffer through PCT? take your pick :D

This might be the most outrageous advice I've heard in a while
TRT is for people who need it. Not because you don't feel like doing PCT.

SHBG shouldn't be lowered during PCT; it's counterproductive.

Hes 34, his test is probably pretty low already many men "need" it once theyre older they just dont notice and blaim **** on old age so yeah why not just cruise on a low amount of test and feel better and be healthier in the long run?

Anyone have an opinion on low intensity cardio in PCT?

Keep it low and mild, walks and mere bike leisure rides at most. Do NOT do them for the caloric burn, since it will take a toll on the gains made on cycle, PCT is to recover only.

if you want to deload go for it.I like to reduce volume and reps and lift heavy and see what strength gains I have made.

It's up to you and what you find works best for you.

For that guy advising TRT....wtf?Why would someone do a cycle just to not be arsed doing PCT.

the division 1 I added in during week 2 or 3 of PCT....but yeah....probably better for the month after PCT....that is why titanium and division 1 are good, since they are split up and you can dose them when you want separate....testopro for instance is all in one....which is good for some applications...

Uh, no just because he is 34 doesn't mean he has low test. U make him sound like he's in his 50s or something. Anyways it's natural to have lower test as you get older. Who the hell WANTS to be on TRT? That **** is not fun. Your either injecting every week or 2 or your smearing gel on yourself every day, it's not fun. Besides he can do pct with a serm and some test boosters and his test levels might even come back higher than before his cycle.

Back on track, deloading will have to be a personal choice. After a few days into your pct you will feel things out and if your feeling like ****, deload a little cut back on volume not so much the weight. U don't want to lose strength. Or if u feel great, keep going at it u might even keep gaining thru pct and after. Just pay close attention to your body. PCT is not always as horrible as it sounds. Hope this helps.
