Deca, Nizoral 2% Shampoo, Minoxidil, and Spironolactone

explain to me more about this finasteride deal. Deca reduces to Dihydronandrolone via the 5-alpha reductase enzyme..

DHT is responsible for MPB, not DHN... so... why are people talking about finasteride and Deca causing problems??? Did I miss this day in class? :)

Is this another one of those rumors that need to be squashed?

edit--- ok got it.. rumor apparently.. searched and nothing to back that up.

in the huge post about Hair protection (it's been on this board for quite some time) I do recall reading it saying not to use finasteride with deca...but then again, the search fuction doesent work properly, some people cant seem to grasp this concep tho, so they continue to say "search search".

yeah, I've said "search search" too. ;)

sometimes 3 times for added measure.

I found a thread that called it a rumor, so I naturally thought the worst.

anyways, what do I care.. I don't have MPB problems.

Is it ok to use all three of these while on deca? I know to stay away from finastride.

those are all fine.
Azelaic Acid I found is much better than Spiro however

I also would recomend the use of Azelaic Acid, as you can use it during the day and not smell like a skunk from using the Spiro. I use Azelaic Acid morning and night. I only use Spiro on cycle, and only at night.

Not sure if its true, but I'v been told you can apply the Spiro like 10-15min before you shower and its still affective. Supposedly thats all it takes for the active to be absorbed through the skin.

I remember reading something about this some time ago. Off the top of my head I think the thought is that DHN is less androgenic than nandrolone. By blocking the 5-alpha conversion you subsequently would allow more of the nandrolone to bind with the receptors in the scalp. Whether or not this is true I will have to search and see if I can find it.

Have you used deca with this combo, or do you have any info. to the reason this is ok to do?

Thanks for the reply by the way, I do not want to lose any more hair.

I have not used deca with that combo - I generally use nizoral, xandrox (minoxidil + AA) year round. Thousands of people are doing the same and cycling AAS.

if your ultra concerned with your hair, have no fear
