Estrogen rebound is when the free estrogen in your body that couldnt get to the receptors drastically increase your estrogen when you discontinue the use of a SERM if I am not mistaken.
The reason I post questions like that is to get feedback and advice from other members - I thought that was the point of this board
yea its the point of the board, which is why you SHOULD learn this stuff before you get on harcore cycle using test/deca and advanced post cycle therapy. The propensity for gyno/estrogen/libido problems will always be there and you must know this stuff inside-out/upside-down/backwards before you jump into real deal cycles. You need to know how to evaluate your side effects and adjust things accordingly, immediately, not after waiting for a response on this forum that may take a few days :smirk:
Estrogen rebound is when you aromatase enzyme has been inhibited by drugs, the drug is ceased, the aromatase enzyme comes back up, but with possibly a greater slope that overshoots its original amount by having been suppressed.
It can also occur if you are on a SERM for a long time like nolva...this can upregulate the tissues that are being blocked by the estrogen. When you come off, you need to be damn sure that you estrogen is in control because the tissue will now be more sensative to estrogen.
Tapering off your AI slowly, and inverse tapering your SERMS into an AI, and then tapering the AI is the best way to avoid rebound.
I wouldn't worry to much about tapering from a small dose of A-dex like .25mg/E3D. You could cut it to .125mg.
