Regarding incline vs flat. Most of the chest muscle is activated actually with decline, but there is decent upper chest isolation with incline.
Incline also uses more shoulder and the more you decline the bench the less ones anterior delt is used.
I like both and depending on your frame will dictate how often you use one or the other. Some guys have a chest that caves inward and always looks flat, some guys get that shelf look that flares out from their collarbone. go for the look that separates you from the rest.
Yea, incorporating both is definitely best. Whether it be incline our flat they both have benefits. I like to do one for around a month then switch it up for the next month
