The internet seems to be raging on fire lately with the recent images of Dave Bautista. More specifically, his weight loss. Many on the internet claim his “transformation” is due to his plant-based diet. While that may be part of it, there’s more going on here than just his change in dietary preferences.

In this article, we are going to dive deeper into the Dave Bautista weight loss news and talk about what could truly be the cause. Being that I’m not Dave Bautista, nor am I in his inner circle, I can only speculate. However, I believe my opinion on this has some real merit.

Is Dave Bautista Smaller Due to a Plant-Based Diet?

I saw pictures of this around a week ago. It’s crazy how everyone is speculating as to why.

Theres no need to speculate, hes very openly talked about it. Hes not comfortable being that big and he dosent like the pressure to look that way, hes following a gluten free vegan diet and intentionally trying to downsize to a normal size person. Dudes almost 60 years old!

Idk if anyone follows him but the character style he normally plays is the total opposite of his personality. Hes quit, well spoken, he wants to act in roles more like is real personality

Crazy how 6’5” and 240 is “small”. He was 315 or so for his role in “Knock At The Cabin”. Insane transformation!

He played that type of character in a shamalon movie. Was so different to what he normally plays. He was great in it.

I always liked that about him - how genuinely nice and humble he really seems to be.

I think its cool that he wants to, and hopefully will be able to play characters more like himself. He's earned it.
