DangerLace getting back in the game!!

That was a good read. I hope you get back in the gym soon. My wife and I will be training together in approx 2 weeks and logs like are helping me decide on a beneficial routine. The result in the pics look good and your comments about men at the gym crack me up. I'll be looking forward to additional updates.

Thats awesome! I look forward to seeing your log with her in it!! And if you ever need any questions answered or help with anything I'll always be around.

Also I start my new job next week so I'll be making money and be able to get back in the gym soon and also be able to eat right again which I'm really excited about, the last few weeks have been crazy, been traveling a lot and got a new bf and stuff but soon enough ill be getting back into it.. thanks for staying posted guys, i really appreciate it!!
 
Alright so got some great news! Start my new job on Monday! Which also means I will be hitting the gym again that same day! :) Just gonna be going to the gym in my apartment complex which is free until the perks of being a Twin Peaks girl kick in, which includes a free Gym membership! I'm gonna love this job! After I get my pay checks coming in I will be starting to eat right again.. I put on a little weight the past few weeks but nothing that should set me back to far.. lots of cardio coming up for me so I can tone these abs and make them really show.. the better my body looks at work the better I do. Also Will be traveling at the end of this month to Charlotte, NC to train for work for about a week.. which is going to be extremely awesome! Can't wait to get back into think and I really appreciate you guys hanging around until I could get started again!!

Every time I visit my family in kannapolis, nc my brother and I always hit up twin peaks in concord.
 
Like promised I started working out again today!! And start my new job tonight!! As a huge welcome back to myself I did an awesome workout today!! Here's what it looked like!

Monday: shoulders/abs

DB shoulder press: 10x 12, 12, 12
DB side lat: 5x 12, 12, 12
Pull ups: 3
Bent over rows: 10x 12, 12, 12 (each arm)
Wide Grip Lat pull down: 50x 12, 12, 12
Alternate front lat raise: 5x 12, 12, 12

Lying leg raise: 2/15
Crunch: 2/20
Seated knee raise: 2/15


Felt great to get back in the gym, and loving the gym my apartment complex has! I'm all alone in it! Haha it's good to know that I didn't lose much of my strength, a little hard to do pull ups but they were hard before soon enough ill be eating right and the pounds will start coming off and my abs will be top notch!! Feels great to be back guys! Thanks so much for waiting around for me!!

Haha I don't think I'll have any anxiety at this job, as a bartender all I have to do is serve drinks and take your order :) and look hot! Easy as pie!
 
Wednesday

First week is going by too fast, been semi busy with some things but not enough to keep me out of they gym!!


Legs/Back

Leg Press: 100x 12, 12, 12
Calf Raise: 50x 12 70x 12, 12
Seated Leg Curls: 50x 12, 12, 12
Leg Extensions: 50x 12 40x 12, 12
Back Extension: 80x 12, 12, 12

Cardio:
Biked 3 miles

Tuesday Cardio: Swimming laps for 45 mins.

Alright so after monday My knee decided it wanted to start hurting me.. very bad! I figured that swimming would help it but it did no such thing, maybe made it a little worse even. I did manage to do leg presses.. but it looks weak from what I'm used to.. before I stopped I was pressing 230! At the same time though these are all resistance machines I'm working with now anyway.

Proud that I've had the motivation to do some cardio and will continue to go to the pool or beach and swim on my off days, including weekends.

get in the hot tub (if available to you) or a heating pad on the knee. works wonders for my back and other pain issues that flare up from time to time.

i remember back in 2008 when i received my 3rd concussion, my neck was totally screwed up. couldnt even more it to the left side. i made a chiro appointment but before i went, i bought a heating pad. after 2 nights, i didnt even need the chiro (for my neck). my back is a different issue lol

Man I wish we had a hot tub! I think my bf was talking about getting a heating pad, his unit had a 15mile run Monday and he screwed his knee up pretty bad as well!

I know mines all inflammation but I can't take a crap ton of anti inflammatory meds because they cause stomach ulcers (something I have had problems with in the past) ill keep trying the pool maybe it just needs to be strengthened!

Cardio: Ran 1/2 Mile

Alright so I woke up today with a really sore back from Wednesday, but still got up early and hit the gym. Still trying to get used to all the different equipment because most of it is all machines. Powered through really fast today because I had a lot to accomplish. The workout went really well and I can say my body didn't take to hard of a hit the last month or so of not being in the gym.

Watch for the edit in a few mins for pics :) I got a few all for you boys. haha

I work at a restaurant called Twin Peaks. I'm actually not logging or even going to the gym anymore so your way to late to see stuff. I announced a few weeks ago that I was pregnant and wouldn't be able to log anymore until after the baby is born. Sorry. But thanks for your support still!
