Dairy and bodybuilding

Hey guys

Why is dairy products so uncommen in the bodybuilding world? I know it could be because of the suger, but what about cottage cheese? - also does dairy really increase estrogen lvls or is it just a myth
 
It's a myth. Usually the reason is due to the type of carbs in dairy products or some level of intolerance (or perceived one ha).

There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with dairy. It's one of the most well rounded food types around.

i know plenty of people who are lean and make great gains with a large percent of their protein intake being dairy.
 
I think the myth falls into the same category as gluten.

Some people who have intolerances to gluten and dairy, claim consumption of said products bloats them and gives them GI distress. For some this is very true, and for others it's just an excuse/justification for their crap diet.

What is the meaning of life without cheese?
 
Eat all the cheese.

Unless you're intolerant it will treat you the same as anything else, just fit it into the macros
