D Aspartic Acid 4g dose?

Hey forum,

I recently bought some DAA and PES Erase, gonna start the stack Monday. I have used DAA before at 3g, but the DAA I purchased this time shows the scoop amount at 4g, is this ok to use, or should I be using 3g?

Also is it ok to mix the DAA with cranberry juice, or should the juice be less abrasive?

The human studies done with DAA were with sodium DAA at 3 grams. What brand did you purchase?

If your DAA is in powder form take with whatever you want to help with the taste. It also can be taken whenever you want during the day but some prefer pre-workout. If you get GI issues then I would split the dose up throughout the day.
 
While different supplement manufacturers have directions which can vary, the general recommended dosage of DAA is 3g daily. On workout days to be taken 45 minutes prior to training or on non-workout days to be taken either first thing in the morning or last thing at night on an empty stomach.

In your case, both 3g and 4g are OK.

I believe mix with cranberry juice makes no difference, what do you think?

dmaa, thanks you for the response, I just felt the cranberry juice was eating away at the DAA, which made me feel that it shouldn't be used.

i've tested dosages on myself and found no difference whatsoever between 3g and 4g...other than emptying the bottle faster

i'd stick to 3g unless your daa source has other fillers/ingredients in it so they require you to dose higher to hit the recommended dose
 
i dont think dosing 4g will give any extra benifit. Personally im on the fence about DAA. At first it seemed promising but the more blood works i see from it the less impressed i am.

No, I didn't. NZ english (as is British) make no distinction between "spelt" and "spelled". I'm not an American, so I don't type in American english. In any case, it wasn't a snide comment just a little heads up.

3g for saturation. Don't need more and if your using unflavored. Cranberry juice has worked the best
