Steroids will **** your lipids up . Even osta messed with my blood sugar for some reason. Solely depends on the compounds used and how the person react to it .
With enough education it can be done safely. I know guys shooting insulin sub q ... ill never do it . Thats my. 02

^^^ Agreed. Do not start a cycle or continue until getting educated in the potential pitfalls. Steroids do affect blood glucose levels so it could be very dangerous to continue. I will look for info and pass along if I find anything relevant.

Steroids will not directly lower blood sugar but they will increase (significantly) nutrient partitioning which usually equates to fast blood glucose clearance and therefore eventual lower blood sugar assuming you haven't eaten again.

I can't say that it would be unsafe so long as your friend is managing it properly, but it certainly would add another additional bit of risk to an already tough situation. The biggest key to this would be diet. You'd have to watch it a bit more than normal.

There are a few diabetic bbers out there (can't think of names right now) though so look around.
