My local Rite Aid has generic hcg and I went to fill my first prescription. They entered my info and the computer came up "needs prior authorization". The Pharmacist explained that my Dr.'s office will need to call CVS Caremark and I guess justify the script. The Pharmacist said this is fairly common requirement with injectibles. She also noted that HCG is in short supply lately and even the generic cost has risen significantly.
Does anyone use CVS Caremark prescription plan? If so, were you able to get HCG covered? I guess I will be finding out in the next few days.
