Cutting gels

I recently bought some of ImageSports Vein, which is an awesome product, and it came with this "thermogenic cutting cream" which you apply directly to your abs. I for one do NOT believe you can simply put something on your abs and magically get cut up, but I do feel it burning. I guess my question is, what does this **** do??? And is it effective?
