Cut Plateau

Hey all,

I've been cutting since January 1st and seen decent progress in terms of definition/muscle retention (roughly 200lbs/ ~15-16% bf to my current 180lbs/ ~11-12%) However, I hit a plateau that I can't seem to break through no matter what I do. My supp stack for the past few months are as follows:

January: OL Bloodshr3d/Forslean (one hell of a combo), fish oil, PES high volume pre, OL Endur3+ post workout, creatine hcl

February: OL Bloodshr3d, PES Shift, fish oil, PES High Volume pre, OL Endu3+ postworkout, creatine hcl

March: OL Assass1nate/Sup3r 7/Sup3r Shred, fish oil, stim pre, OL Endur3+ intra workout (switched the timing), creatine monohydrate

Current month: OL Assass1nate/Sup3r 7/Sup3r Shred, fish oil, stim pre, OL Endur3+ intra workout, creatine monohydrate

*just to clarify, I time all of my carbs around my workouts, equate the carbs in Endur3+ into my macros and generally do about 15-25 min of LISS/HIIT cardio a day. Will be switching from Endur3+ to Scivation Endure within a couple of days due to the sick Nutraplanet Easter sale.

Looking back on this cut, the first thing I can say is that I should have saved the fat burners for later in the cut so they were more useful in a situation like this, but hindsight is always 20/20 i suppose. My main goal is to get to 10% bf or lower, but as stated previously, this plateau is stalling hard. Figured I'd call in the reinforcements and inquire with the experts on how you guys would approach this.

Currently, I have been running a 75g fat, 140g carbs, 190g protein macro ratio and upping my carbs 1-2 days a week to 200-280g whenever I feel energy dwindling or look flat. Also i have a bunch of supps in my stockpile that I can utilize when my current stack ends:

3 Ignit3
3 Forslean
1 Sup3r 7
1 Sup3r Shred
2 Tr1umph

I was thinking of either taking a month off from supplements other than pre workout and my intra workout/ fish oil, taking a month or two off from fat burning compounds and taking Tr1umph for both months to try and reset my body, or just sticking with the cut and stacking Ignit3/Forslean/Tr1umph for the next two months and then entering a recomp. I've been debating hopping on my first hormonal cycle (Sup3r epi elite) but I've been putting it off because I want to see how far I can go naturally and don't want to substitute 100% knowledge of my body and the way it works with a "crutch" (for the lack of a better term) that will only help me momentarily and leave me where I left off: not 100% sure of what to do/where to go I was thinking of hopping on something like alphamax for a test boost, but I'll leave that to you guys to suggest.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read through my lengthy post. Thanks a lot guys/girls

Currently I'm eating at around 2000kcal, I bump it up to around 2400 on high carb days. I'd say I'm at about a 400-700 kcal deficit presently. I'd know for sure if I tracked calories last bulk but I didn't unfortunately
I know it's not the common consensus if trying to maintain muscle....but having a 2000 calorie deficit I have seen amazing results and of course if you went up to a 1000 calorie deficit maybe you will see your results pick back up? Tbh I bought a Fitbit to track my calories and if it's actually accurate maybe it's a good idea to get something to see how much you're really burning? I though I was burning around 3000 when in reality I've been hitting 4100 a day because of work...goes to show you may possibly be off

Also have you been cutting the calories you intake monthly since you will be less weight?

I suggest an ECA stack (Primatene), or possibly dig into your IGNIT3 and stack the Primatene with that..

More importantly, at this point you should take a more potent cortisol control product than oral 7-Keto. Iron Legion Invictus never seems to let anyone down. I love it!

Thanks for the suggestions man, I'll def take a look into all the above! Especially the tracking calories part, I kind of went too aggressive to begin so I potentially may have cut my own throat in regards to guesstimating calories. As far as it goes with cutting additional calories, I haven't yet begun to. I was thinking of doing this but instead of upped my cardio because I love to eat haha

Good suggestions man! I've been super interested in trying out an ECA stack, just have to figure out how to obtain the "E." and I've heard great things about Invictus, def worth a look-see!

Have you had a refeed?

I haven't yet to be 100% honest, I've been having weekly/twice weekly high carb days when I am a bit more lax with the carb sources I eat. For example, yesterday I made loaded protein waffles post workout when I typically have brown rice, etc

Upping the cardio is the other option of course I just find it easier to know exactly how many calories I Do/don't eat rather than how many I 'may' have burned...I am bad at knowing how much I really burned (Fitbit helps though!).....I have kinda the opposite problem of you; when I was bulking I thought 4000 calories a day was a 500 calorie bulk...according to Fitbit I burned 4000-4200 calories 5 days of the week and around 3800 the other days....so I was actually LOSING weight because of guesstimating incorrectly. I was shocked!

That's crazy! I know what I'm putting on my wish list on Amazon.... I have been wanting to get a calorie tracker for some time because as you said, it's a lot easier controlling calorie intake instead of hoping the treadmill is accurate in its caloric calculation

The Primatene should be right at most of your major drugstores behind the counter.
Don't forget about Invictus though! You should read some reviews/logs on that product if you have not already..

Yeah I got some Primatine last Monday! I just walked to the CVS prescription counter and asked for Bronkaid. They said they did not have it but do have Primatine. You can buy up to 2 boxes and will have to swipe your ID!

So either as for primatine or bronkaid :)
Caffeine pills were oddly found in the Sleep Aid section lol, caller NoDoz

Sweet dude! It works well?

Also look into HydroxyElite it's done wonders for me Allowing me to keep a 2000 calorie deficit and still fill full of life! A little more pricey than the otc ephed probably but it does work
