Custom Pre-Workout Idea

Hey guys,

I'm tired of all the preworkouts on the market generally being underdosed, so I wanted to create my own. Let me know if this stack sounds and would be effective, thanks.

Vitamin B12-1000mg
Vitamin B9-500mg
Vitamin B6-5mg
Creatine Monohydrate-5g
Beta Alaine-3.5g
Betaine TMG-4g
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosne-1g
N-Acetyl L-Cystene-500mg
L-Arginine HCL-5g
Citrullue Malate-8g
Caffeine Anhydrous-300mg

I don't think you need more than 2.5g TMG
Drop Arginine for 1g Agmatine
I'd also look into adding Amentoflavone

Well, Olympus Labs new pre-workout Conqu3r is not underdosed and is pretty comprehensive, but if you insist....

Creatine doesn't need to be taken pre-workout (but if it's convenient for you, then that's fine)
No need for Arginine
2.5g Betaine is good enough

Yes I'm aware that there are some companies that put out properly dosed preworkouts, I feel like many are underdosed however, but thanks for the info. Also is the Betaine really enough to compensate for the L-Arginine? Thanks man

Vitamin B12-1000mg- don't see the need
Vitamin B9-500mg- don't see the need
Vitamin B6-5mg- don't see the need
Creatine Monohydrate-5g- doesn't have to be preworkout although might be convenient to take it then
Beta Alaine-3.5g- doesn't have to be preworkout, although might be convenient. Also, you should take the 3.2g split into 2 doses throughout the day instead of at once
Betaine TMG-4g- 4g at once might give you GI distress, try 2.5 grams first
N-Acetyl L-Tyrosne-1g- you are better off with regular L-tyrosine, although you would still need quite a bit for it to be effective
N-Acetyl L-Cystene-500mg- no need preworkout if not combining with nitrates
L-Arginine HCL-5g- worthless
Citrullue Malate-8g- good enough
Caffeine Anhydrous-300mg- up to you and your tolerance

I gave my input.

Synapsin pretty much covered it. haha

Thanks for your imput, I really appreciate it and can see why you made the corrections you did. I guess I got carried away and added too many ingredients that didn't truly make sense being together.

OP no offense brah, but that's pretty bad lol. Here's something that i do:

Dose creatine and beta alanine whenever as they are not timing dependent (when saturated).
Betaine: 3g
Agmatine: 500mg - 1g
Citrulline Malate: 6g - 10g
Caffeine: user dependent
Taurine: 5g +
LCLT or ALCAR: 1g +
Ephedrine: 25mg
Leucine: 5g
Amentoflavone: 200mg +

betaine can be lost through sweat so I would split it into a pre/post dose of 1.2g ea

My custom PWO:

Agmatine 1.5 g
Betaine An. 2.5 g
Beta Ala. 3.2 g
L-citrulline 9 g

Thats it. I'll take 5g creatine mono with my post WO protein shake.

Cost me $80 and will last me MONTHS! No underdosed 20 day supply BS. Its called "pump city"

Good stack but that is too much amentoflavone. I think you meant 200 mg of a 20% extract of some sort.

Not bad. 1.5 g Agmatine will make some people get well acquainted with their toilet, and that is too much L-cit (unless you meant cit mal).

Vitamin B12
Vitamin B9
Vitamin B6
...
Betaine TMG
...
N-Acetyl L-Cystene

I see some nice methylation protocol here. But if you need it and know what you're doing, you should know that it's taken daily regardless workout. And it indeed has energizing/mood positives. Also I hope we're talking of Methyl-/Adenosylcobalamin, 5MTHF and 5'P5 here..
And catecholamine precursor of choice - NALT/L-Tyr/L-Phenylalanine - should be selected based on individual biochemistry/reaction and thus preferences. Some people use DLPA for additional advantages of the D- form.
Also what about KNO3? It's cheap and it does serve NO..
And the as the last note, Soy Lecithin (for its PA content) seems to be the new pre-workout staple over here together with Amentoflavone. Personally, I'd experiment with Sunflower Lec and see if it has the same effect though.
