CTE and low T

So, I had assumed that my low T was due to getting injured and gaining a ton of weight, and my use of various androgens, etc. however, the more I read about CTE, I'm starting to wonder how many of us that pertains to?

Anybody here ever dig into that much?

FWIW, it seems like TRT helps manage CTE/TBI pretty well, so that's a good thing, at least....

I have dealt with a lot of TBI cases, many of them ended up being confirmed neurological lyme or ME.
When you have a head injury, this opens up the blood brain barrier to heavy metals and also other pathogens normal kept out. These pathogens and environmental toxins can cause imbalance to the HPTA resulting in hormonal and neurological imbalances.
I have even had case where they have been to multiple different specialists, neurologist with out success. Upon history, it was found out several years ago there was scuba diiving incident where they were not properly put into decompression chamber. Since then their health declined tremendously, upon further testing I suggest was found to trigger a dormant infections from lyme and HSV6 going straight to the brain. After several months of helping them they are doing very well, and are no longer showing symptoms of a stroke or acting like a "crazy" person

Whats your experience with CTE and TBI just wondering? I know alot of my ED issues come from CTE, TBI, and my PTSD

well, I don't have a lot of confirmed concussions (I think only 3), but I'm nearly certain I had at least 4-5 more (literally don't remember entire football games and have gaps in memory from high school). also was around a lot of explosions in the military...

I kinda doubt my low T stems from this, but it's interesting, as I've been keeping an eye on the CTE news with the NFL...

I also did a little MMA and kickboxing, but really didn't do much heavy sparring or got my bell rung there much. football was far worse for me....
