crushed tablets for oral solution

is it possible to use crushed tablets to make an oral solution if powder isn't avialable? i've heard different opinions. i've heard that it will be fine for solution but fillers could effect it if intended as a transdermal. i also heard that the fillers will settle out of solution and can be left in the bottom or filtered. any recommendations?

Why make an oral solution out of tablets, why not just swallow the tablets?? For a transdermal, the fillers aren't an issue. The molecules of the fillers are most likely way too big to pass thru the dermal. The fillers are only an issue when making injectables.
