I am currently taking creatine before and after my workouts each day. My question is how long should i wait after taking my pre-workout creatine before i begin my routine?

timing doesn't matter tbh . Some studies show best before and some show best after. It doesn't matter once you reach saturation. After a month or so consistently you only need to take 3 grams a day 4-5 times a week. no need to cycle if you run it like that.

No real difference

Anytime each day

Just be consistent about it, so take around the same time every day. I take mine in the morning, approximately 11 hours before I train.

Thats when i usually take mine. I just throw some in my protein shake post workout.

I tend to take it pre workout, why? Because I always take it at that time so I get in the habit. Point is, establish a time to take your dose so you become consistent with it.

I put mine in my intra as I tend to train fasted, and my creatine has electrolytes and other stuff added in for performance benefits. Otherwise drinking it ANY time of the day is perfectly fine, as long as there is consistency. Creatine saturates so the effects aren't really acute

While loading you may see some small benefit taking creatine pre and post workout. Once you're saturated there's no need to worry about timing at all. Take around 3g on workout days, whenever you want. Keep it simple!

yes, it will cause unwanted side effects and possible kidney problems

For me, even 2.5 L daily wasnt enough to keep creatinine and filtration rate within normal ranges :(

Just out of interest, when you figure out your water intake how literal are you? Do you total just 'pure' water, or include water that you might use with prewo, beverages, etc?

it should include everything that is not caffeinated as caffeine is a diuretic

I drink 2 litres and estimate ~500ml from other sources. Irs not really enough anyway

Dunno about you but I find I drink less when Im constantly busy, like Ill only have a scull when Im feeling thirsty...otherwise Im more like hmmm, might have a swig or two (even if not thirsty).

Ive got one of those 2lt countdown spring(tap)water containers, and I 'try' and get through at least one of them a day...but I know that how convenient something like this is will depend on your job specifics.

It is a concious effort to drink 3L or more but I try drink 300ml per hour. Is doable as I have water handy all the time

Theses guys got ya covered just make sure you do take it around the same time daily. Consistency
