Cramping in arms after workout.

2 hours or so after a good arm workout, my arms like to cramp during contraction right in between the upper forearm and bicep area (elbow pit area?? Haha) I stretch before the workout and during rest, drink plenty of fluids before, during and after. Any other suggestions?

i would take a look at nutrition as the first culprit. Are you getting enough calories / nutrients?

This IS common.

Besides the normal, protein, hydration, nutrition, taurine..
Something that has really made a difference in me, is foam rolling.
Give those muscles a good foam roll. Feels great, and helps that a lot.

You'll have to excuse me, I am still a newbie. I just thought the cramping (being specifically in my forearms) was a sign that I may not be training effectively. I'm forming my diet around all the macros suggested for my body weight and goals, so I'm pretty sure my nutrients are on point. I have foam rolled before but not consistently so I'll do that more. Do you foam roll before and after training?

I don't specifically on arms. If it's cramps, maybe taurine would help like EmpireMind mentioned. It could also be that your forearms aren't as strong enough to support the weight you curl. I don't do forearm work outside of deadlifts and farmers walks, but that could help as well.

If it's more of a pain than cramps, it'll be something else.
