Country Gets HUGE with 5-3-1, Erase and DAA.

Knee measures 15.25. Large or medium SBDs? I want to squat in these regularly not just meets and use them to help me warm up and protect my bad knee while it continues to heal

I measured 15.5 and got a medium, they are super tight but i love em. I'd go for medium.

Thanks for all the help man. Gona shoot some mediums tonight then. Back is still tight and knotty as hell. Shoulder and knee are pretty good.
 
Sleeves are ordered. Back feels really good today but shoulder is a little grumpy. Did some work last night but don't think I got warm enough. Gona do some leg press for quads and back extended for glutes and hams and then core. Looking at a real lifting session later this week, squats or deads.
 
That's the plan. I'm feeling ready. Soon. Did leg press core and some hip extension work on a machine. Felt good.
 
Beefy and tight as hell. I was afraid I wasn't gona get Into them. Tighter than my wraps.

Yeah when i put em on i fold the lower end up like an inch or two and fold the upper end down till its even with that fold then grip and pull it up and unfold and its in a decent place. i try to get em pretty high up the knee.

Nah, you just don't know how to wrap yet, youngin. I'm jelly of the sleeves tho.

You gota realize I said MY wraps, which aren't as HD as the ones you guys use ;)

I just mean the total compression on the knee just feels more intense. My wraps have like, pressure points and cut blood off while these are like, tight but I can wear then longer.

Someday I'll get into big boy wraps and then I'll really understand what you mean. After I get that 500 without wraps.

I did roll them and still took a lot of work. I have a lot of leg hair so it was painful too LOL. But thanks for sharing. Been wearing them 20 minutes now and feel warm.


I'm about to go do a sprint test and a wingate bike anaerobic test for lab. Weeeee. Look up the second one. Kinda cool.
 
no bigs man, but yeah the first time i put em on it wasn't a good experience, I've had em on and off so many times now that its like clockwork. They haven't loosened up much, if at all. A quality product though, seems like they will last a long time.

and thats pretty cool. you should have the best numbers in the class lol.

I had the best numbers for vertical, step test, and now this test. Interested in what my peak power is going to be when we do calculations.
 
Pump/fluff workout and mobility today. Wore my sleeves through it. I'm in love. They feel amazing. And tight. Can't wait to squat.
 
Was stupid sick yesterday all day blowing chunks and couldn't eat. Finally ate a little last night. Fine today. My whole body felt wrecked last night and so much pain and today I feel way better after some good sleep.
 
Man I don't want to talk about it. But nah, I wasn't hung over at all when I got up. But I felt terrible later that day. One of my other friends also was feeling sick so we think either stomach bug or food poisoning. I never get sick from a hangover and like I said I wasn't at all the next day. I did drink a profuse amount of whiskey though. Had some wild turkey and fireball and who knows after that. Definitely a bad decision. I am gona cut back on drinking a lot this year. I like enjoying a few drinks on occasion but nothing crazy. But hey, alcohol has 7 calories per gram so.....


Just kidding.

I do feel better today so I think I'll bench this evening. Squat later this week and pull this weekend when I go home and lift with the guy at the HOF.


Oh yeah I was offroading in my jeep all day too on sat so it was really a heck of a day haha. Woke up at 7 and drove to meet some buddies. Just felt bad stomach pains. Weird.
 
Also gona start planning my training up to these 2 meets and all that.
 
I feel it on the drinking man, I've cut back a lot over the past year. I drank every weekend in college, I probably drink once a month now which is maybe 3-4 drinks compared too 10-12 in college lol. engineering classes themselves would give me a headache sometimes, going in with a hangover made it 100x worse.

It's more of a social thing. I go out to get my head off school work and training stress etc. girls start pouring you shots you don't say no... Haha. But yeah class is no good hungover.

I drank twice all summer. Didn't get drunk either time. Onces was only 1 beer around a campfire with the buddies. In the last three weeks I've drank about 8-10 times which was weekends and week nights. So too much lol. Not heavy all those times but it adds up. I'm usually once every month or so. I feel a little with hurt you socially but my habits lately haven't been the best. Been really stressed and down about some stuff lately though and not able to train with the back deal so. I need to take it out more constructively.


Anyways I feel like killing weights and I'm going in now.

A freestyle wrestling singlet!? Those are fly, especially the cut. I have a black and red Anderson singlet, as does PumpHouse.

Pulled 135-405 warm up reps and all that. I hate this gym and the bar so bad. Anyways 495x1,1,3,2. Not bad.

Bench. Lots of warm up. 225x3x7 paused. Good.

Oh, it is one. In freestyle and Greco, you either wear red or blue for scoring, and you get the reversible ones in case your color changes throughout the day. My Anderson one is sweet.

Nice little sesh you had today, too.

My traps kinda achin tonight but no worse than before so. Whatever.

Wore my Sleeves to pull. Didn't notice much other than they were on my legs. Did keep me warm though and pain free. Nothing as far as added poundage tho.

I was down to 191 today clothed. So I guess getting sick had me down. I heard of 3 more people who had what I had today so I guess it's going around. Whatever. Once I get my food stores back up I'll be feeling better. And having a good bloat will go a long way too.
 
Nice pull/press day man. Never wore my sleeves to pull in, wouldn't think they would give you much for em tho. You'll feel a decent rebound on squats in em tho.

Thanks dude. It was alright. Takes me a few sessions to bounce bak after time off. Also bench was feeling better. Nothing on pulls from the sleeves other than warmth.

Now the good news. I got sore from bench but no pain in the problem area or anything. Really happy about this.

Squatted today. Knee sleeves felt great. Knee never hurt, and they gave me really nice pop out of the hole.

Bad news. I was NOT ready for squats today. My back and specifically erectors were absolutely wrecked from my pulls 2 days ago. As soon as I got some pump it was insanely painful and I just felt weak as far as keeping my back up. I shut it down and did 3 sets at 315 with some explosive reps then hit leg press to finis my quads out since I didn't even touch them with those light squats.

More good news: trap knot did not Bother me at all today... Was sore from deads but didn't have any pain squatting at all. This is huge because it was really affecting me on near max squats.

Gona rest an do one recovery day it I can this week. Saturday training at the house with the guys and will probably pull but might squat. Who knows. Well find out then. Should be a good time!

I think maybe all this time off for rehab may have just been an excuse to go off-roading lol
 
a heavy deadlift effort kills me for squatting.. maybe try to get in some squats over the weekend. could always go the Dmax route and hit heavy squats/deads in the same day.

Same man. Haha. It was a bad idea. I'll probably squat on Saturday. But maybe pull and squat again next week.
 
Currently 7 weeks out from the meet, and going into week 2 after deload. So I am setup to do 2 cycles of 5/3/1 and focus on pulling the second cycle for the single lift meet. Still have to decide if I am only pulling or also squatting, or saving that for the full meet ~1 month later.
 
Also almost ordered some follidrone. Read a bunch of studies today and even if the myostatin effects are questionable the other benefits should result in less fatigue and therefore more strength. The decreased fatigue is definitely proven.
 
Pulls. BW 193. need to gain/bloat/eat

warm up - 135x15,10 225x7,5, 315x3,3,1, 405x3,3, 455x1,1, 495x1, 525x3,1

Rack Pulls bellow knee - 495x1, 545x1, 494x7

core, reverse hyper, and some quick pull ups. good day with the guys. form is a little funky, gota figure out whats going on in the next few weeks.

Also sherm hit 440x2 for 2 or 3 sets tonight on bench at the peak of his workout. man is insane. Going to kill it at this meet.
 
I feel like epicatechin might be a better product for endurance/body builders. I guess I could buy creatine LOL. Oh the gains. Hmmmmmm. Maybe search the logging opportunities.
 
I just want a real supp that works. Any suggestion on creatine other than mono powder? Any good GDAs to try out? Anything else new I should look at.


Benched today. Did some pause and TG with 225. Was feeling weaker but did more volume than normal. Did some rows and pull ups and db triceps. Good day overall. Bw 196 so that's good.
 
I been taking some vitamin shopp hmb 3 times a day and feel it's been very beneficial but I take a lot of stuff so could be I'm just on a good comb atm

Edit: I started dosing mono at 10 grams a day split in 2 why because chis Duffin does only reason lol
 
There's a new ABE formula out, haven't looked into it my self. I like the creatine nitrate that's in C4, I take both mono and that usually. Now I'm on a different pre that doesn't have the nitrate and I'm not a big fan.
