I like to hit some incline bench on OHP day for some chest work. But I'm just a skinny guy without a chest still lol.

Edit: incline after bench. OHP day is close grip or JMs.

Beach is good. Laying around a lot and doing some fishing. Caught some shark yesterday. And some spot in the sound the day before. Eating tons of food and doing some mobilizing. I need to step it up a little the next few days though.

I dropped all overhead work especially now because of my shoulder. I might start some close grip or JM on an accessory day though. The way my shoulder is though it's just basic bench when I can manage. It's been feeling good though the past few days so hopefully I'll keep taking care of it til next week and see where we are at.

Keep working that bench man and you'll blow up with a little extra pec work.
 
Mog axles are sweet and he did a good job on those. Look up some of the front 14 bolt builds they do, those are pretty sweet.

I'm gona try to recomp and make some strength gains so should be a good ride. I enjoyed the OG stuff as well.

Baseball freshman year of college. Walked in at 6am, saw those guys and we're like wtf. The weight room had 2 stories, the top being cardio equipment. We could see someone walking on a treadmill, newspaper covering face. 30 min later Obama appears downstairs. We were working out literally a few feet from each other. I should have accidentally smashed a weight on him.

Nobody said anything to him except our assistant coach. Obama asked if we were a weightlifting team, our coach said baseball. Obama said cool and directly turned around and walked away.

This was fall '08 when he was campaigning. He did a speech at our college that day.

Probably wouldn't be cool with any politicians I know of. I loathe 99.9% of politicians.

The cool part was seeing how the secret service operates. I was trying to spy on their conversations. Lol.

Good night. I just PRd 405 for a single 3 weeks ago which was my last squat session as well. Gona try to start rep bench again next week on Wednesday. Pull Monday. Body day tomorrow.

Anabeta and erase are going well since Sunday I think. So 3 or 4 days in.

Squat form was narrow tonight and I didn't get my opens open right. Once I get that fixed that should help the squat too.

Thanks guys. That rep 2 was fast out of the hole then slowwwww then got my hips under me and it took off. Obviously some mechanical stuff to fix but I'm getting stronger. I just need to use that strength with better form. I felt like crap going up so honestly was surprised. Didn't expect a PR today. But made it happen. On a good day I think a triple was there.
 
This workout whooped me. I'm dead tired. Havent felt like that in a while.

Just the EFS regulars IIRC. Nothing crazy. They were to kinda pop my wrap cherry and get me used to them/see how I like them before I drop dough on a good pair, and for knee support when I need it. I'm curious what I can do using them heavy, I might try them soon once I fix the other kinks in form that have developed. I'm happy with 405x2 no wraps and know I have a lot more in me. The gains I'm making on squat lately remind me of the gains I made going from a ~405 dead to 525 back in the day. Once I got form dialed in and trained right the pounds just piled on.

I have arms for a TJ, I don't think they would work. I have a buddy with a ZJ I could ask. If you have a facebook, add me and I can add you to a group with like 19,000 people you can ask for them on. Also look for "For Sale" groups on facebook in your area. ZJ stuff is a bit harder to come by. I just finished welding up some stuff for my jeep, gota head to the gym and get some type of workout in.

Keep yourself in a good position to finish and you'll bang more weight than that right out. Read up on Dimel deadlifts and give them a try and see if they don't help.

I have big plans for my pos. Jeep got into the rust yesterday and it had a lot. I got to round up material and a welder with a tig setup so I can patch some stuff in and make a bumper put on the rockers

I'll check Em out. I can rack pull more than off te floor. I doubled 585 from the knees just after that set once we worked up on racks. So I am losing it in the transition. That was only my 3rd time back pullin in a while I think. So definitely some things to fix. Obviously loose more back tightness on reps 2 and 3. I need to drive with the back more and I think that will keep my hips in a better position. I never have the issue except on reps though, it's like the first good one always takes it out of me.

I also think as my squat progresses and catches up, my deadlift will continue to take off with the hip strength increase.

I don't blame ya man. Sounds like you got a good plan. If she wants to join "jeep talk" they have a lot of people, not super hardcore but might be a good source for parts. Otherwise I would check Craigslist and maybe go to a local pull yard.
 
I agree wholeheartedly with your observations, man. Your lockout is going to get a lot easier if you set yourself up properly.

Pulled tonight. I warmed up and just knew it wasn't gona be a PR night. my stomach was kind of iffy and I had indigestion which was screwing my core tightness on heavy weights.

overall made a crappy night into something much better. No big PRs other than the rack pull, and the 500x4 (I think) even though it's not actually that big, just never done that at the weight before, and I could have at least doubled it if I had really been feeling it tonight. I wanted 6 on 500 (calculated 600 max) but I knew warming up it wasn't going to happen tonight. I had no pop or drive off the bottom that I'm known for. I was still sore today from wednesdays squats, so that may have had something to do with not being 100%. I am however happy with the work and volume I got in. I focused more on form tonight since I wasn't feeling big weights, and the 4 pulls at 500 were very clean, good reps, no hitch etc. I shut it down then so I didn't get sloppy. I kept the upper back tighter tonight too which probably killed a little bit of my pop off the bottom.

We went out early today and hunted for an axle housing for my jeep today, got it most of the way out but ran into an issue with some flag nuts that broke and didn't have the saw blades with us. So have to go back. Also pulled a master cylinder from a dodge for my brothers truck because his went out, and some warn premium hubs for a cj7 for my buddies he is restoring. So did some decent work today and was in the hot sun without good hydration or eating right. (had some taco bell). This could have attributed to me feeling slightly sub-par. I'll get back at it next week. The good news is I was in a lot better position in the top phase of the lift tonight, so hopefully I keep paying attention to that and keep that issue under control.

just killed a ton of chicken, potatoes, broccoli, a shake, milk and strawberries. Yum.

Soon man. I need to lighten up a little. Been going really heavy lately. PR is a PR man. Gota push through the bar days. Just below knee, I'll post a pic.

My bis are already aching from holding the weight. Wow. I had such a good high after though. Took a 20 minute scenic route drive home and haven't felt that good in a while. Perfectly relaxed. Gona hydrate and stretch some more before bed. Get some more carbs down too.
 
I was not in optimal position when I started the pull, started too close the body. But it turned out okay. Here is startin position. Need to work on these with the heavy weights. Getting set up is key. For the record I sat back a little and got tight before the pull here in this pic.

Yup. They aren't really only shoes but do have a small heel. About the same heel as other shoes. I can't pull flat foot and hate pulling in my chucks. I pulled up to 585 in worn out Nike sneakers haha.
