Country Gets HUGE with 5-3-1, Erase and DAA.

Happy new year in America land you feggots!

Got in a little accident this morning. Icy roads. I'm alright other than a little headache. But my jeep is pretty rough shape. Hit a tree directly on my rear driver tire and broke the axle shaft and everything off. Smashed in the tub and bent the roll bar and tweaked the whole tub. Hopefully it's not totaled.

Sorry to hear about that, man. I know you put a lot of time into it.

Thanks man. Good news is the majority of the damage I know isn't bad. My jeep is salvage and in a past life was in a wreck and rebuilt. Damage was at the same corner and was actually starting to come apart from bad body work from back then. Cracking and what not. But the tub definitely will need fixed/tweaked but overall I don't think it's too bad. I'll need a new axle shaft but I can get one of those for cheap at a local yard and I know how to fix/replace all the axle stuff. I really don't think it will be totaled. I might get the shop to do the body work and I will fix the axle/brakes etc depending on cost and what needs done. Hoping the carrier and gears and LSD pack in the center diff are all fine. Or that will be another $1K. I'm just glad I have good insurance, and most of all happy I wasn't hurt. It's a bummer and I'm pretty frustrated but it will work out alright in the end.

Let's be real guys, accidents are scary and shake you up a bit.

Glad your ok bro

Thanks guys.

Sick today with stomach pain gas etc so I haven't eaten much. Probably gona squat today or else Saturday so I can bench tomorrow night.

Thanks guys. Yep I'm just glad I wasn't hurt and no one else was involved.

It was interesting watching my tire roll away across the road.

I wish that was all that happened to mine. Freaking axle shaft broke, caliper bracket bent, tore the center out of the rotor, bent the hell out of the wheel, and who knows what else to the axle itself, didn't exactly have time to look it over. Smashed in tub, flare, tweaked the rollbar inside and ripped my tool box out of the back and scratched up all the bedlining in the tub. latch for the tailgate is bent too of course since it's part of the tub on that side. I'm seeing like 4K ish to fix max. So it shouldn't be totaled. If they decide to I'll get all the pennies I can, buy it back and fix it myself I can do it for like 2k. Don't exactly want to do that (or have time) but whatever.

Time to squat. Got in an accident, got sick, but I'm not letting this one get away. Gona be a hell of a session. 370 squats for 95%. Leggo.

Well. I still felt sick w stomach cramps and have eaten roughly 2k calories in the past 2 days combined... That said I told you guys I wasn't letting this one get away. Warming up my knees hip and back were screaming at 135. Knees got better. Hip didn't get better until the last set. Back hurt the whole time. Same low spot right side at the bottom rib area. Anyways later I popped it by pushing my back into the seat in the leg curl and felt instantly better. Wish I had done that before the squat. So against all adversity I did this today:

D4(skipped 3) w3 c12. Ill bench tomorrow.
Squats. Bw- 194. And this scale is a little heavy. So I'm down 4 pounds.

Squat- bar. 135x7,7. 225x3,3,3 +belt, 290x5, 330x3, 370x3 PR.

+knee wraps. First time using. 225x3, 315x1, 375x3

Hardest part was walking out the weight.

Leg curl 110x10,10, 130x10, 150x5 and the machine let lose on the knee piece and kinda hurt my knee so I quit cause I was pissed.

Abs and BB style bi curls. High rep.

Considering everything going on and being sick and back hurt today was a total success in my mind. Prime example of pushing through adversity and making something good out of a bad situation. I think I would have hit more like 5 reps being rested. Last time I tested my squat max I could only cleanly 1 RM 365 to proper depth. My 385 was a wink too high. I buried these squats. Definitely making progress. This was even 2 days after my deads which is ridiculous. 3 days rest usually leave me beat up for squats.

Too bad about the jeep and being sick man.. Seems like you made the best out of the situation and hit a nice squat PR though. They looked like butter man, good work.

Try and down a 700 cal shake or something my man if possible

I drank my shake and a ton of chicken and rice. Still some pain but I'm not feeling sick now.

Thanks bro. It's part of life I guess. Just gota roll with the punches. Thanks. They felt really good so I was glad. Next time I should kill even more and set a big rep PR. The shoes felt so much better tonight too and I was able to open the hips and start the descent with them. And kept my shins more vertical and overall felt more stable and stronger. And lots more power through the heels.

Nice work! I'm going to watch the video now. If walking the weight out is hard, do some walkouts with weights heavier than you plan on squatting. You'll get better at them quickly. I sucked at walkouts in August, but they're a necessary skill that need practiced like any other.

EDIT: Well done, my man!

You see the vid?

The walkout with the knee wraps on was hard. The regular was pretty easy. I'm definitely getting used to the heavier weights which is nice. Gona take a nice healthy deload and recover from this accident and sickness and back pain and come back even harder. I've set PRs the last 4 sessions. Actually 5 of the last 6 sessions, just had the one weak DL day.

I think the unrack and walkout are easier with knee wraps, but that's just me. Keep working at it. I did see the video, excellent depth.

Well, I couldn't feel my toes or bend my knees cause I wrapped really tight, so I think the waddling threw me off. I could get my feet right. But finally got them close. They definitely help. I didn't feel any weight in my knees at all really. As long as I sit back and push with my upper back into the bar they will get me out of the hole lol. Thanks. I've been working on just bombing the whole and getting a good rebound out of it so I don't have to worry about depth and I get comfortable.

Man I feel downright awful right now guys. No clue how I worked out and set a PR earlier. lol.

Thanks bro. I will make leaps and bounds in my squat this year. I will work harder than I ever have.

I have like chills and numbness and can't think super clear... a little dehydrated so I am sipping water but trying not to over do it because my stomach was hurting so bad. I have gallbladder problems in my family, like a lot. So I have issues at times and this seems like one of those episodes, but it's so similar to the flu/stomach virus it's hard to tell sometimes. I'm gona get some shuteye and chug some water and hope I feel better tomorrow.

You and me both dude. The road to 500 is on. Only question is, can we get there In a year?

It's gona happen. 4 months ago I was doing 315/325x2. Now 370x3 easy. If I keep those gains up hell yeah.

Feel better bro. I murdered some PRs last week then had to take the second half of the week off when I got sick, so I feel (felt?) your pain. :(

In on journey to 500 as well.

Yeah bro it's not a good time... Let's have a little friendly competition, first to 500 in 2014.

Ya I shouldn't be too far off and will see how much further I have to go after I hit some near maxes in the coming weeks. 500 on the squat and dead for a 3x body weight lift are both goals of mine. :)

Based off how strong your deadlift is and how you seem to finally be grooving that squat effectively your numbers should keep rising at a pretty good rate IMO.

Heck yeah man. Get after it. 3x bw on squats would be amazing for me somewhere down the road.
I think so too, just gota keep up what I've been doin.

Is this a wrapless competition? If so, I'll stay off the sauce and join in.

Sure buddy. Hey do whatever you wana do haha. Don't care how you get there.

I'll be aiming to hit it wrapless, but if you compete with wraps I don't see why you can't use them for a lil friendly race. I have no objections. :D

What's your squat at now Bolt?

There's a big difference from what I'm shooting for and what you are. I've yet to hit a 2x BW squat and you're aiming for a 3x, lol. Anyways, color me in.

Squatted 430lbs for my final squat in competition in November. Recently: Last week I hit 400lbs for a triple and then this week I hit 390lbs for 4 reps. I should be hitting some singles again in ~5 weeks I believe to see where I am at.

Well I just used mine for the first time ever but don't intend to compete in them just yet.

I'm just above 2x I think... Don't really know where my max is.

Very nice man.

Squats looking good Mr. Kegg!

Thanks rob! Been workin on them. Glad to hear they look good haha.

Mmm, squat PRs sound nice. GJ

That's what I was thinking. Plus I'm not really sore after the PR so I'm thinking sickness was holding me back. I plan on murdering those numbers the next few weeks.

I feel a heck of a lot better this morning gents. Gona go feed like crazy and maybe some stretching. Get some more rest tonight. Next week is a Deload week anyways but it's going to be very active. Then smash some PRs when I get back.

This is kinda of entertaining. Invalid Link Removed

Could you guys suggest some good joint supps for my dad that would help w general joint pain/strength and recovery. I know a few including cissus but haven't taken anything in years so I'm sure there are some good supps out there with several good ingredients in them at a reasonable price. Thanks. Off to do some of my own research now.

Joint help ( napalm jizzes in his pants everytime he gets a bottle)

Fish oil should be always IMO

Achilles ( on sale and rob likes it)

Epharm Joint Force Spray. Apply, wrap in Saran Wrap, then feel good.

Achilies and/or Cissus

Cissus products:
SNS
USPLabs
iForce
and if you can gut it, cheap bulk NP Cissus

Thanks guys. I guess I should have added I'm trying to avoid a pill because he has digestive problems and any kind of pill bothers him and he will end up not taking it after a while. I was actually just trying to sell him on some joint for sean, and see if I could convince him to take achilles and hopefully stomach it.
