Counteractive Supplements to Xgels

I believe I read somewhere that certain other supplements should not be taken along with xgels. I can’t recall exactly but believe one was fish oil. Is that correct? If so, can someone explain the negative aspect of dosing the two together and also any other supplements to avoid?

Anything cox-2 inhibitating. So tribulus, boswellia, zingerones, ibuprofen, etc, etc

Fish oil, MassMax. But if you separate your dosages with ArA and MassMax then it’s fine. Just have to time it correctly. I’ve had no issues.

Nothing in mass massmax is cox-2 inhibiting, as far as im aware of. It has anti-inflammatory properties sure. However, that does not mean it will negatively impact ArA. As it is anti-inflammatory through different pathways, which should not decreases ArAs ability to increase prostaglandins. People often confuse ArAs moa of how it increases muscle. Its not purely because pro-inflammatory properties. Rather the inflammation is a side effect of it increasing prostaglandins which are very anabolic. You dont want to take anything that inhibits prostaglandins moa, such as cox-2 inhibitors, as that will decrease ArAs effectiveness.

what about vector?

You can wait for Brundel for the verification but I don't believe it contains cox-2 inhibitors.
I'm sure he knows more about the specifics of the extracts, but Eriobotrya Japonica seems to posess some COX-2 inhibiting properties.
The anti-inflammatory properties of E. japonica leaf extract resulted from inhibition of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expressions through downregulation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) phosphorylation. 2)

It also attenuated the expression of COX-2 and the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6.

I'm sure brundel will be able to shed more light on this. His write-up on the ingredient did mention that it has anti-inflammatory effects, so it's possible that this is one of the MoAs it works from.

This. I know fish oils were one of the big ones they tell you to avoid.
