Just wondering, do you count fiber in with your daily carbohydrates? Say I eat 300g of carbs one day, but 50g were fiber. Did I only effectively consume 1000 calories (250g) from those carbs?
correct. since you dont metabolize fiber for energy in your body, it would make no sense to include it in your total calories, however most people do for simplicity sake.
Great, thanks for the confirmation. I think I will separate them since I am already below maintenance, and do not want to drop too low! Plus I like counting calories
