could this be a natural recovery from 12 months on TRT?

TESTO JACK by NOW ...sorry could post link to the ingredients as its my first post !

Curious as some claim they used this soley as a PCT and felt great...TRT isnt all I hoped it would be so wanted to take a break, recover and give it another go in a few months maybe ...but want to get my HPTA recovered as I cant tolerate HCG for some reason !

TRT is really not a treatment you simply stop and recover. Usually those that stop don’t recover to even their old testosterone levels. Age is a factor and everyone is different. Are you doing a HPTA Restart protocol? Here is a tried and proven protocol:

TRT takes a year or more to dial in your protocol. It’s not just total testosterone but more “all hormones”. Here is a chart showing all the hormones you have to balance out:

thx Ken, yes I'm a bit in limbo with my trt...had some good moments but my psa has gone up from 0.4 to 1.3 but now stable, my left testicle aches every few days and is the size of an almond now and I did try HCG but even a 200iu dose gave me horrific anxiety and breathing distress for 2 days after ! makes me wonder if it was an E2 spike ? could I start on say 50IU hcg and acclimate my body from there? I'm even thinking of using Bulgarian tribulis to get my LH up fro 0 a bit ...I know some don't believe in it but ive always responded and the science for LH stimulation is there ....im on 100mg test e btw and all else blood work wise is ok and I'm doing e2d injections of 25mgs to keep estrogen controlled......just trying to get this all working smoothly and to be healthy more than anything . I'm 41 and a long time personal trainer and physique competitor btw

My story

So, here is my story. I have been on testosterone for at least 5 years now, unfortunately I can't really recall exactly how long ago I started. After a few months of TRT, I noticed significant improvement in my attitude, well-being, lean body mass, sex drive, and confidence; I WAS a typical 40 year old man according to current standards. At about the two-year mark, I stopped for about 2 months. The reason I stopped, is probably the same reason you stopped: curious as to whether it was actually doing what it was claimed to do. Was I simply feeling better on my own, or was it the T? What I noticed, was all the great stuff that I had benefited from TRT simply went away, back to my old grumpy self, literally!

I have to say the biggest benefit I got (get) from T is an amazing attitude adjustment! But, yes, all the stuff went back to baseline. So, after 2 months back on my routine of 100mg weekly (I solely use test-c, no HCG or anything else prescribed, but I do supplement with saw palmetto daily [1 90 pill bottle for 90 days, cycle off for 30 days], and recently indole-3-carbonol 1 pill eod to help with any estrogen effects; which, btw I have NEVER noticed, just figured I would add it as a precautionary measure) I returned to my new normal. I haven't looked back since! My labs show a T level of between 600 and 750 when taken the day before I inject (in my glutes), PSA always less than 1; lipids and everything else* are spot on (* hematocrit (red blood cells) is on the higher side so I donate every 2 months).

But, again, I do not take HCG, which from all of my research can be a tricky drug to get right. So, my non-medical, non-professional, schmuck of a layman recommendation is: If you felt the need to go on TRT because you felt like a typical, crabby, asexual, middle aged man then maybe give it another go (with your physician's approval of course). And, maybe this time without the HCG (unless you are still wanting to procreate [seriously, after 5+ years my testicles haven't shrunk that much, my wife hasn't complained!]). I wish you the best of luck, whatever course you decide is best for you.

Nice advice. Be careful you aren’t over donating blood as you can crash your iron/ferritin levels to the point of anemia. I did this and it’s been a long 1.5 years recovering.

You should add hcg 2 times per week

Thanks Ken, always good advice. My hematocrit is consistently over 50 at the donation center when I go. So, I am going to have a talk with Doc and see if he will write a script so I can go more often: say every 6 weeks instead of 8, just so I can get it down into the 45 range. But, since they check beforehand every time I'll be sure to not let it go too low. Vitamin T (as a friend calls it) can be a tricky animal to tame, but I can honestly say that it has been an easy go for me, no complications what-so-ever (other than high hct). God bless

well my issues started 6 months after my vascectomy fellas so I'm ok with the no more kids part lol...but I don't like the aches in my nuts every few days or how small my lefty has become hahah...my wifes not an issue its more me wanting to have all the other hormones like LH , FSH and the others they produce downstream working for optimal health...my haemocratit is always great ...my cholesterol has always naturally been high , my bp is 110/65 and I am fit and strong from yrs of training

Good stories in here. TRt is for hypogonadism.

I tried for two years getting my test levels in normal range, with the help of an andro, and they just wouldn't do anything so i went on trt.

No need to donate unless your hematocrit level is at 52 or you are having BP issues. Here is a TRT chart of sides/solutions:

There are many factors not being look out side of hormone that are adding fuel to the fire. Focusing on hormone will help tremendously, but as I am seeing clinically it's often masking a potential deeper cause often comes back to impacts our health later on. We need to look broad spectrum at lifestyle mindset enviromental and biochemical pathway imbalances to reasons why this is happening in first place. We are looking Short term satisfaction not long term gratification.

Hey Ken, nice chart, thanks for posting. Great reference for anyone, even if they aren't on therapy. And I'll have to check out the app.
