Cottage Cheese?

I eat cottage cheese with cottage cheese. I buy cacao cottage cheese paste and mix it with plain cottage cheese. One portion is total 600g. One portion: 540kcal. 62g protein, 63g carbs and 27g fat.

if your bulking, can you eat normal cottage cheese (not low fat) and does it taste better? or is it no good for you?

I don’t notice a big difference in taste between regular and low fat cc. Regular may taste a bit more salty.
As far as regular/ low fat/ fat free content goes I would suggest checking your brands sugar content and compare them, sugar is not always but often added when fat is taken out. I would rather eat the fat than a bunch of extra sugar.
I really like mixing my cc with pineapple or peaches.
Some crazy stuff listed here I never would have thought to try. Going to be fun trying some of these out.

a spoon of peanut butter, 1 scoop casein protein, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries or blackberries, a serving of almonds, spoon of coconut oil, little bit of honey
use all of these or any combination
i actually look forward to eating it, but then again i always crave sweets.

1 Cup cottage cheese, 1 can of tuna. Give it a shot.
It may sound nasty, but I like it...and made the wife try it, and she also liked it.

OMG! Honestly when I saw this I thought spew time for sure. But I worked up enough nerve and ....wow! It is really good! And I am burnt out on tuna. This changed everything. Thanks bro.

dude they got these new cottage cheese doubles in the grocery stores. Its low fat with 2% i think. but its like a serving of cottage cheese with a side of fruit.
they have them with apples, blueberrys, peaches, strawberrys, and pineapple. their like a 1.30 or something not bad. but if u like them, then just buy the large cottage cheese containers and buy a jar of your favorite fruit.

Right now I'm all about the honey and CC. But still trying the others ideas.

i read somewhere Pres. Nixon used to put ketchup in his cottage cheese? idk if it's just me but that doesn't sound to appetizing..

on a realistic note tho, organic honey and strawberries/blueberries taste delicious in it.

I'll have to try that on sounds great. :wave2::thanks:

Beverly International Ultra Size Chocolate taste great and the Vanilla plain or with crushed pineapples is very good.

just a heads up, alot of people have recommended adding honey. if youre looking for something just as sweet with far less calories and sugar you can replace the honey with sugar free maple syrup. two of the best brands are Log Cabin and Careys, both of which taste identical as any regular syrup.

You can always make cottage cheese pancakes.

How do they taste? (I'm sure good but.) Do you have a big CC taste or do they taste like regular Pancakes. :dunno:

Nice Idea, will have to try. :thanks:

CaliPhotog's BEST non-fat cottage cheese!!!!

I promise you that this is the best non-fat cottage cheese recipe that you will ever try.

This is so good that you have to be careful of how much you eat if you are trying to cut cause it is packed full of calories, but all good ones! For a bulk... man, eat away and grow!

These amounts are for 2 1/2 cups worth of Knudsen cottage cheese. I have tried other brands of non-fat cottage cheese but none of them come even close to the knudsen for the taste in this recipe!

2 1/2 Cups Knudsen Non-Fat Cottage Cheese

1-2 table spoons (depending on what macros you are trying to hit) of Trader Joe's Organic Creamy Peanut Butter

1 scoop of Nu-tek Pro 5 cookies and cream protein

1/4-1/2 Cup (depending on what macros you are trying to hit) of raw unsalted pecans

Mix together till it starts to take on a slightly thicker than mouse consistency. Now taste it and prepare to be blown away!

I used to hate cottage cheese, probably the texture. But that was when I ate whatever I wanted, now that I watch closely not to eat sugars, glutenous products and bad fats, the sugar that's in cottage cheese makes it delicious!
or, try putting no-sugar-added strawberry jelly in it

Hey you all have great ideas but check this one out...This is the best one...Half of an avacado-pile the cottage cheese high on it-add 2 slices of a ripe tomato-add salt and pepper to taste. This will give you your omega-3's healthy fats and lycopene. Enjoy.

Oh yea, I was going to mention a sweetener...You have all mentioned different types of sweeteners (honey, jams and jelly etc.) The sweetener you want is Agave nectar... it is a simple sugar easly digestable by the pancrious?? and great sugar the muscles crave. you can find it at your local health food store where the hippies hand out and shop. It is also a great sweetener for drinks like iced tea and such.

I heard agave nectar is a complex-carb

I like to make a shake with cc in it their are tons of different recipes. my favorite is......

3/4 cup of oatmeal

3/4-1 cup of cottage cheese

1 or 2 scoops of protein powder

cinnamon (put the amount that you preffer)

1-2 spoon fulls of syrup ( I use sugar-free)

1 or 2 cut up apples.

3-4 cups of ice

1-2 cups of milk

put it all in a blender and shred all this up until it is of a milk shake or smoothie consistency. I drank this every night before i went to bed while i was on a prohormone cycle and it worked great. I dont make this everynight now that i am off the cycle, but when it tickles my fancy i blend one of these up.

With pasta and tomato sauce and romano cheese. that's how I do it. Friendship makes a 1% Whipped that's low in fat and tastes good.

Lucerne Non-Fat Cottage Cheese w/a cut up banana. I eat 1/2 cup daily. Used to hate it, love it with the banana.
