So im going to costco tommorrow to pickup some things. thought id get some suggestions or idea's on some good food to pickup. Im getting tired of eggs, chicken and oats all the time.

love that store. i hardly ever get to go there but love it. as for foods......i would say just walk around and see what you like. you know how many cals, carbs, and fat you can have so just take your time and read lables. im sure you`ll find some new stuff that will fit into your diet.

yeah i havent been able to go lately either even tho i have one about 20 minutes away. Im just in need of a change from all the chicken, tuna, and eggs haha.

yeah it gets old but it does its job. thats why not everyone can live our life style. they try eating good for a few days and then they lose intrest because Big Macs are toooo yummmy to say no to.
you can keep eating all the same things you eat now just mix it up how you cook them or what spices you add. a can of tuna is blah until you add some hot sauce and fat free cheese on top of toasted wheat. yum yum

yeah you're right, it sure isnt easy eating the same stuff but switching up the cooking methods sure does help and like you said, it gets the job done. A lot of people think im crazy to eat the same stuff but than agian they dont look like me either haha.

Costco is 90% of my diet. They have the best prices on milk around. You can get a bulk pack of canned chicken breasts --- each can should provide about two meals worth of protein. They also have bulk packs of tuna. Quaker Oats has a food-service sized oatmeal product that you can pickup and eat for months. Bananas, grapefruits, spinach, broccoli, and potatoes are also in abundance. Etc.

By default, I get everything I can at Costco. The money you save, in addition to the convenience of having bulk supplies on hand, makes it a winner in my book.

To answer specifically your request for variety: take a look at their butchery. You can buy great big top round steaks for $2.99 a pound. They also have nice salmon filets, and usually some specialty meat like lamb is in rotation. I personally have no problem eating flavorless but healthy crap for 6 meals a day, so long as I can have a nice montreal seasoned steak for the 7th.

hmmm i havent had some good beef in a little bit, ill be sure to check that out! Yeah it used to be where i did all my shopping but lately im just way to tied down with work, any food i need i get right down the street. And u mentioned the bulk tuna, i go crazy with that stuff. Best prices around!!

They have some cheap beef jerky if you like it. Pretty much no fat very high in protein. Just high in sodium but if your just the avg bb it's a great snack.

YES! I love beef jerkey, what's the brand name? Talking about all this makes me realize how much i miss going there.

- Frozen berries (various) are great for throwing in shakes.
- Olives
- Kirkland brand balsamic vinegar is top notch, great for salads
- Bulk size natural peanut butter
- As mentioned, almonds, but also walnuts
- Whole grain specialty breads

I could go on but there's a start.

I get the kirkland concentrated fish oil. Less caps to take and it is distilled to remove more contaminants

I also get grapeseed extract along with Vit C and E
