Cortisol control

I still have half a bottle of jarrow ksm-66. So, maybe starting tonight I'll give that a try (at one or two capsules) and just not take any in the morning. Hopefully the calming effects will carry into the next day without redosing in the morning. I have tried it with coffee but it seems to completely negate the effects of caffeine. So, I guess you could say that caffeine works. I don't feel any stimulation from the caffeine but I also don't feel the tiredness from the ashwagandha. However, I would rather not have to take caffeine every morning, so I'll give the nighttime only dosing a try first.
Sounds like a plan. Any reason why you don't want to take caffeine daily though?

Cheapest I see the Jarrow KSM for is $0.18 for 30mg withanolides. For the powders, it's $0.18 for the same dose (KSM) and $0.17 for the same withanolide content from Sensoril (10% vs 5% with KSM). The prices on the Jarrow caps are just insane right now; at just over $5 per month, it's one hell of a deal IMO.

Could you PM me the source?

Anxiety issues. Ashwagandha seems to offset much of the negative caffeine effects but I often feel like I'm walking a fine line between too much or two little of the two at the same time (and then either being too tired from the ashwagandha or too stimulated from the caffeine).

If ashwagandha makes you sleepy, try taking the full dose before bed. It will still help during the day. It's an adaptogen, and if it helps you sleep better, you may improve your anxiety. Also, some people claim it makes them sleepy for a while until they get used to it, then it energizes them.

I've tried it for up to almost 3 months and the tiredness never went away. However, now I'm just going to take it at night (and skip the morning dose) because it combined with magnesium glycinate provides the best sleep.
