Converting powders to liquid orals?

I know this is probably not worth my while, but some think liposomal delivery yields better oral-bioavailibility. How would I go about making 1-AD, 4-AD, or other powders an oral suspended in oil? What oils would I have to use to make the powders dissolve?

All liquid oral recipes i have seen involve PEG 300, 400, or 600. Everclear is also popular for suspending, or a mix between the two.

I think that liposomal delivery is a marketing reference to encapsulating the hormone molecule in a fat molecule in order to enhance absorbtion. This could not be accomplished simply be suspending the hormone in oil. Or I could be completely mistaken in my understanding of the term, it's been known to happen :)
As far as what oil to use to make a suspension, the topic's been discussed in other threads at length. Extra virgin olive oil works very well, grapeseed or cottonseed being other options.
PEG isn't necessary IMHO. Just heat the oil to aid in dissolving, then shake well before using. Reheat if any of it crashes.
 
Also, if i already have it in a PEG solution, can I still mix it in oil? If so, what is the best oil to use with PEG?

If it's already in a PEG solution, just leave it. You know what the concentration is already. Adding oil to the solution will only dilute the solution further.
 
OK, I just always heard that oil helps with absorbtion.

Another question for UH- what if i wanted to make it transdermal? what else would i add to the solution?

If you wanted to make the powders into a transdermal, there are a few recipes around here that you could use. For convenience sake, you could also visit Nutraplant or CNW to pick up some of their transdermal carriers.

That might be kind of hard if you have 4-AD in solution already. You could add the PEG to the trandermal, but I can't guesstimate how well that would work. The 1-AD will be fine in solution, you'd dose it at about 300-400mg. The 4-AD orally you would have to dose at 700-900mg orally.

That's what I would do. You might have to dose a few ml higher to account for the PEG that it's in.
 
Yeah, I would adjust the dose due to there being more liquid volume than if i just added powder. Do you think the icreased amount of PEG in the transdermal solution will decrease its effectiveness?

It might decrease it a bit, but I couldn't tell you how much. The PEG solution might inhibit some of the substance from passing through the skin, so just guessing that the amount absorbed might drop from 15% to maybe 12% or less (Just a guess on my part though, so I won't swear to that.)
 
Well, PEG itself is capable as passing through skin. But still, it would mess with the transdermal's ratios.

Another question:

Do PHs still convert to the target hormone when used transdermally, or is the precursor itself active? I think they do, but I thought passing through the liver was required for the conversion, and I didnt know if transdermals make a liver pass.

Yes, they will. 4-AD will convert to Test, but things like 1-Test and 1-AD are their own active compounds and don't convert to anything else in the body. They will make a liver pass, but by absorbing them through the skin rather than orally, more active in absorbed in the blood stream and less in broken down by the liver as opposed to taking it orally where it will go straight to the liver to be broken down.
