In order to win a tub of Green MIGHT, you must prove your might! There will be 3 different ways in which you can prove your might. Each show of might will be given THREE days to allow submissions. You may submit an attempt as many times as you wish. Once the time is up, a winner is chosen and onto the next show of might.

Days 4-6: Dumbell Clean & Press

-Clean the dumbell from the floor and get it pressed out overhead*
-The lift must be completed with it locked out and controlled and with full hip and knee extension. Lower the dumbell to your shoulder and bring it to the floor in a controlled manner. Respect your gym.
-Reps will be the judges in determining if it's a good lift or not.
-Whoever completes the heaviest Single-arm dumbell snatch, wins.


There will be both MALE and FEMALE categories.
Winner of each will win x1 Green Might, x1 White Flash, and a shaker bottle. You're welcome to participate in all 3 events but you may only win once.

My "gym" only has rubber plates so I'm out on this one. Completely fair rule though - I'm in for future challenges!

This was a bad event for me lol. Ive got bad carpal tunnel from swinging a hammer and running a nail gun and saw all day every day and its been acting up the last couple weeks. Had to try though lol

Fck yeah ive always wanted to get a replica of thors hammer and take it to work lol
 
I ended up breaking my handle in half setting a quick bolt so I welded some stainless steel pipe and a vape on it bad a$$ hammer lol what is your trade?

Wait snatch or press? Leg drive or no? And its only single arm?

Been a minute since ive done any clean and press. Honestly dont think ive ever done db clean and press lol this'll be fun
 
Db clean and press is awkward, much more prefer bar. Snatch is fun with db but I hate it with bar lol

Take a dumbell and get it up in the air. If you need to jerk it, snatch it, use leg drive whatever. Floor to locked out overhead. If you all drop it or throw the sucker down we are going to disqualify you. To keep things safe, just return it to the ground in a controlled manner.

Is it a max weight or max # of reps? The post seems like it's a max attempt but im just confirming.

Might as well go to the next contest. No showmanship. Should done 80 then waited til 90 came up then write a worried post not sure I’ll get the hundos all the while u got the 140 in the bag. If I was strong that’s what I would have done

If you guys use a strongman style circus db that’s loadable, please weight it loaded directly before or after the attempt.

This is my gf’s best event. She’s done 130 at ~150lbs true bodyweight and 120x5 weighing 175 at the Arnold Pro.

I more or less suck eggs at it lol
 
How long is this contest running for? I dont think my gym's dbs make it to 140 but I'll enter on Tuesday if they do.

Edit: nvm. I see each competition is 3 days. Damn. Looks like I'm out til the next one on this one too. Unless you know of a gym that's staffed 24 hrs a day and has DBs >140 near Manchester, Sean.
