Considering starting in powerlifting

I am considering giving powerlifting a shot and am looking for thoughts and opinions as to weather I should give it a go...Here are my pb's: Bench 245 (stop on chest), deadlift (500 Lockout), and squat (305 parallel). BTW I am 5 foot 9 and weigh between 205 and 210. Any adive you can give would be greatly appriciated.
 
It doesn't matter what you lift now, it is about progression. Find some training partners in your area and have fun.
 
agreed with all of the above. Find a federation, make some goals, learn about powerlifting methods, dive in and have fun.
 
look into jim wendlers 5/3/1 method... between Westside and Elite fitness.. i think those would be your best avenues of approach.
