Concerning question about arachidonic acid?

I was reading my BTPB book and came a cross paragraph about the effects of steroids on the prostate. Well in the paragraph is stated that a study found that arachidonic acid induces proliferation of prostate cancer cells. (J.Ghosh et al
(1998) Proc. Nati. Sci. USA 27:1382-7)

Not bashing xfactor cause i like its potential for use in a numbers of things but concerned about health factors. What's the concenscous on this.

Without a doubt, if you have cnacer of ANY KIND, do not use X-factor... or any other anabolic for that matter. Anabolics cause growth which of course includes cancer cells if they happen to be present.

BUT!

Arachidonic acid does not cause prostate cancer. I read a study a while back that compared various fatty acids and how they affect prostate cancer development. AA was a zero risk factor. But Linoleic acid--such as that found in flax seed--appeared to increase the risk of prostate cancer.

Just food for thought.

Here's an interesting statement from the Sears guy who made "The Zone" Diet.

"In fact, you can inject virtually every type of fat (even saturated fat and cholesterol) into rabbits and nothing happens. However, if you inject (AA) arachidonic acid into the same rabbits they are dead within three minutes. The human body needs "some" arachidonic acid, but too much can be toxic."

so don't give your stash to your rabbit....

Do you have any data on the effects after a cycle? Meaning are there any loss of gains?

What is the longest cycle to run or can you simply load for 50 and maintian for 50 and so on?

I saw your other post about going 1250mg for 60 days. Would you simply go to maintenace dose after that?

Gains are always 100% permanent.

Load for 50 at full dose and maintain for 50 at half dose has potential but hasn't been tested. Theoretically, it should work well.

The 1250mg for 60 days is for highly advanced users. I would recommend a break from X-Factor after doing a cycle like this.
