Comprehensive list of products due to be scheduled by DEA on June 24th 2008

This kind of crap pisses me off...wish the govt. would focus on the huge heroin/cocaine problem in the u.s. instead of people trying to do a little body enhancement....**** i hate this country.

While I don't hate this country, I am getting sick of the government trying to protect everyone from themselves. Booze and cigarettes have screwed up more lives than steroids and they still remain legal. I haven't used any of the stuff on the list, but I would like to have the choice.

Who decided that I can take supplements to make my bones stronger, skin clearer, but the muscle in between is off limits? If it is a muscle builder, it gets labeled as a steroid. Why does the US Congress investigate steroid use in baseball? What the hell does that have to do with running a country? Logic is rarely the driving force behind a governmental agency.

Off the soapbox...

Big pharma also seems to have a penchant for CREATING new medical conditions to solve with prescription drugs, and the gov't is fine with that, even if there are some serious side effects possible with those drugs. I laugh whenever I see commercials for prescription drugs and they read the list of side effects - some sound so much worse than AAS side effects.

I hate to say it but the majority of you need to go back and read the original pdf posted .If you read it correctly you will see that several of the products listed on the 1st page do not fall under the proposal in the original pdf .This is just a proposal to begin with not something that will come to law on June 24th .They are simply asking for comments not to pass a bill .More than likely it will get passed but not in June.

These are the following substances that they are wanting banned :
(xiii) boldione (androsta-1,4-diene-3,17-
dione)
* * * * *

(xvii) desoxymethyltestosterone (17a-
methyl-5a-androst-2-en-17-ol) (a.k.a.,
madol)
* * * * *

(xlvii) 19-nor-4,9(10)-
androstadienedione (estra-4,9(10)-
diene-3,17-dione)

I am not familiar with all of the products chemical structures listed on the 1st page to comment on all of them but I can comment about P-Plex .This is the chemical structure for P-Plex;

2a,17a-dimethyl-17b-hydroxy-5a-androstan-3

Not the same as any of the proposed chemical structures above .If I am wrong I stand corrected ,so correct me if I am wrong .Unless any of the products listed on the 1st page have these same chemical structures not a similar one .It will not fall under the proposed ban .
