Day 27

My diet was off too... WAY off... :/

That goes for myself also  consumed alot of junk, especially last night - i just kept munching and munching

LOL! My appetite has been crazy throughout this log. Weight is around 190 right now I think, but at one point I thought it'd be 200!

No gym today, just took it easy and spent time with the g-parents. Tomorrow I'll be hitting the gym early in the morning, probably will do an upper body workout with high reps. My final day is fast approaching :( I only have 3 servings of PCT Assist, so on Wednesday I will do the full body workout and see how the numbers compare with the first week. I'll put up pics as well, they might not do justice tho since my diet go so out of whack this last week. Before I left for Orlando tho, I could def. tell a significant change in size; props to the PCT Assist, SNS Magnesium Creatine Chelate combo for this one! Focus XT is good stuff too, I like to use it before cleaning, shopping, etc. You can use it anytime, the energy is very smooth and there's no crash or jittery sensation after taking it. Can't wait to hit the weights tomorrow, that week off has renewed my passion! :)

45 minutes of LISS walking

Not lifting tomorrow, will do some light cardio and abs. Wednesday will be the big lifts day!:damnit:

Day 29

I was going to head to the gym this morning to do some cardio and abs, but I've been pretty sore with DOMS from yesterday's workout so I decided to just take it easy and give my body rest for tomorrow morning. As planned, I'll be doing the big lifts; deadlift, squat, bench press, chin ups, and shoulder press. In that order, unless someone thinks differently?

Here is today diet, I did 40 minutes of walking later in the evening.

Nutrition

7:30- 1.5 scoops of whey, 1 cup of oats, 1.5 cups of skim milk
10:30- PCT Assist, SNS Magnesium Creatine Chelate, 8 oz. lean ground beef, 2 cups of whole wheat pasta w/sauce
2:00- 2 scoops of whey in water, handful of M&M's, 2 whole wheat crackers
5:15- 1 scoop of Focus XT before my walk
6:15- 1 serving of Xtend, 1 scoop of whey in water
7:15- SNS Magnesium Creatine Chelate, 2 oz. of lean ground beef, 3 oz. of chicken, 1 small sweet potato, 1 cup of sweet peas, multi

Cardio

40 minutes of LISS walking

Day 30- Final Lifts

Here are the numbers from this mornings final workout. Some of the moves showed drastic strength increases! :) There was one in particular that didn't really go up, the DB Chest Press, and I attribute some of that to an injury that happened at my bachelor party. I pulled or bruised something around my left chest muscle and its still pretty tender, made it extra difficult to get the DB up and into position at the beginning of the lift. Anyways, I'm very happy with the results; I would consider this a very succesful run! But enough of the talk, here's the proof!

Nutrition

8:00- 1 scoop of 12 hour protein in water
8:45- Pre-workout supp.
9:15-10:45: (intra-workout) 1.5 scoops of whey in water, banana
11:15- (post-workout) 1/2 serving of Myogenix Aftershock Recovery
11:45- 1 scoop of whey, 2 cups of skim milk

Final Lifts!!!!!

Deadlift

First Week: 205 x 6.....Final Attempt: 245 x 6 That was a 40 lb. increase in roughly 30 days!!!!!

Flat Bench DB Chest Press

First Week: 85 x 6.....Final Attempt: 90 x 3 This lift went up about 5 lb.?!

Wide Grip Parallel Chinups

First Week: 4.....Final Attempt: 5 1/2 So here I was able to improve by 1.5 reps. This was good though, because the grip I used for the final attempt was a little bit wider and the reps were from a dead hang!

Squats

First Week: 185 x 6....Final Attempt: 225 x 6 40 lb. increase! :)

Standing Behind the Head BB Press

First Week: 115 x 5....Final Attempt: 125 x 6 Went up 10 lbs. with an extra rep!

I'll follow this up with a final review of all three products that I tested.

Final Review (All ratings will be on a scale of 1-10)

Competitive Edge Labs: PCT Assist

Effectiveness: 9.5 I was very pleased with the strength increases, by the end of week one I could feel the key ingredients starting to kick in!

Ease of Use: 10 Very easy to dose, I followed the directions on the container; 3 pills twice a day. Easy to take as the pills are not big at all. The smell takes a little getting used to :) but there is no after taste with these.

Price: 9 I was fortunate to have the opportunity to try this complimentary, but the price is very comparable to similar products. I give it an 8.5 and not a 10 because this product is probably more valuable for use in PCT, rather than standalone IMHO.

Final Rating: 9/10 See above.

I would recommend PCT Assist to anyone that is looking for a safe and effective supplement to help them bust through a plateau in training. Also, think this would be an awesome product to be used as a PCT treatment.

Serious Nutrition Solutions: Focus XT

Effectiveness: 8 I used Focus before my workouts and got the extra energy boost but I didn't notice that much of the ordinary for focus and concentration. I preferred to take it before other activities where I noticed the effects much more, i.e. LISS cardio, job interviews, church, etc.

Mix-ability: 10 It mixes great! I never experienced any clumping or powder sticking to sides of the shaker cup! Perfect in this area.

Taste: 8.5 It tastes awesome all the way down to the last couple of sips :) Also the aftertaste is not too great, I had to drink a good amount of water afterward to get rid of the aftertaste.

Price: 8 I would definitely pay about $20 for this once school starts, I think that is when it would be most beneficial and valuable.

Final Rating: 8.5 I would recommend this to someone that is looking for an alternative to multiple red bulls and other sugary energy drinks. This would be an invaluable supplement for someone taking lots of classes in school or a salesman who is working on the road and long hours.

Serious Nutrition Solutions: Magnesium Creatine Chelate

Effectiveness: 9 IMO, this is a staple in everyone's supplement lineup. It provides an ample amount of creatine, dosing is 3 pills twice a day.

Ease of Use: 10 See above, very easy to take with a meal.

Price: N/A :( Not really sure since these haven?t been released yet! :)

Final Rating: 9.5 I would recommend these for anyone looking for a creatine supplement that is effective, a great value, and easy to take every day.

Thanks again CEL and SNS! I really enjoyed this HUGE stack!
