Company Board Representatives?

Are AX board reps paid? What is the usual procedure for being a rep? I am just curious because I don't know what the point is if a company just gives people money or supplements and in return all they do is say that the company's products are the best and what not.

(I put this in AX section because I know business is handled in a professional manner)

To answer your question on what the point is...

Take a look at what they are doing in here. If I own a company.. I would have much bigger things to do then hang out on the boards. I would get employees to do it for me.

The Herbal tester thread...
The PheraPlex log results thread.

You have a good point. I guess I didn't think about that. Although, I was curious as to how someone can trust or believe the "hype/advice" that a person gives if you know they are getting paid to say such things.

I know of 3 companies that I would represent based on their quality. Although a lot of people will say anything for money/rewards.

It's more than just them recommending the product tho.

Answering questions
Researching for answers
Relaying information to consumers
Monitoring feedback to report back
etc etc...

Our reps have an important function in our company. It would be impossible for us to handle all of the items associated with handling all of the boards plus all of the daily things we have to do to run a company. I post on the boards when I eat my lunches at work.

Are you trying to say that AX isn't hiring in 2009? haha. I can work summers! lol. Yeah, it really is too bad I don't have anything lined up just to have some security. AN is dead now. No forum, prices are going up and no one is there to explain anything.

Yea man, I have no idea what is going on over there. I had Emily (the new GM) helping me do inventory so I don't know how she will do at gm. I still can't believe the forum is down. Anyways, glad to see you over here.

How do you like working for them Lee?

I saw some postings on the site and was actually going to send in a resume as a complete career change (from IT). Would most likely be a pay cut but I was thinking about it...

I love working here. Its so laid back, everyone is pretty cool. A few of us go ride dirtbikes together on the weekends. Time off is not an issue and they let me work around my school schedule. You should have sent in a resume. Its always nice to have more IT guys on the team.

Never, as an AX rep, have I said or done anything because I felt obligated to do so. I was offered a rep spot by 2 other supplement companies(I will not mention their names out of respect), but I had to decline their offer. I did not feel educated, connected and, most importantly, loyal to those companies as I do for Anabolic Xtreme. I stand behind every statement and/or post I have made as an AX rep, 100%. I have never been biased nor dishonest. I do my best to knowledge every individual about the great effects and effective products that I truely beleive in. But at the same time, I also advice everyone about the harmfull and negative effects some of our products may have and the problems they may encounter. That's most likely the reason why members choose to listen to us and take our advice very serious. We rec. something..they try it..it works...and their satisfied with our help. And that trust continues to grow. I appreciate the positive comments I receive by members that I have personally helped. Their words are THE motivation to why I continue to do this.

Kevin is a great guy. I met him at the 2005 OLYMPIA along with Lee (AnabolicXLee) and a few other AX employers. They were very supportive and educated. Kevin is also quite busy, and that's the purpose for for having representatives. It helps the owners stay connected with the consumers, it provides the owners with customer feedback/concerns/suggestions and questions. I am glad that reps exist in the supplement business. That's what makes products and supplements more effective and have better quality. The feedback you and I, as consumers, is vital in order to establish a successfull and solid product line up.

I am overall satisfied with being an AX rep. Kevin is very supportive and understanding, we have great communication, and he has always treated me with respect. And I can't say enough about Lee and Krzna, both great guys that have always helped me in tough situations, rough spots and accepted me well, since day one.

I hope you don't feel like I was tearing AX reps down. I know AX products are top quality. Don't even get me started on how much Kevin kicks ass. I believe in him and his business adventures. I have 5 different AX products on my desk right now. I would recommend them to anyone.
To me it seems like the "all hype" reps make the most noise, which could create a bad name for reps in genereal. (Once again not refering to AX.)
